This wine has quite deep ruby colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of dried rose, red plum, stewed cabbage, wormwood and touch of earth, and mushroom. It is dry with medium acidity, a little bit sharp in nature. Medium alcohol, bodied and soft tannin. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of red cherry juice, rose tea, sour strawberry and touch of worm wood. Barely over medium length with rose tea finish. (91)

This whisky has pale copper colour. On nose it has close to pronounced level aromas of honey, caramel, smoke, vanilla, nutmeg, pepper with touch of raisin, peat and orange peel. This wine has dark ruby colour. On nose it gives pronounced aromas of black plum, dried black cherry, prune, vanilla, clove, raisin, blueberry, and touch of tea, dried leaf and brandy. It is dry with medium acidity. A touch of high alcohol and full bodied. The tannin is wonderfully soft and ripe, at medium level. 86年酒我說它仍年青是有點難以置信的,但這酒卻說給你知它仍須時間發展。酒香接近完美,香氣的力度及複雜性都十分出色。口感工整柔順。酒味在口中複雜性不降了點,餘韻亦比想像中短了點,但已是一枝出色的酒。不妨多藏幾年,應有更好的品飲回報。

2003 Ch. Montrose
This dry red wine has deep purple colour. On nose it has fairly high intensity aromas of blackcurrant, violet, earth, licorice, smoke, damp wood and touch of graphite. Medium acidity, alcohol and slightly fuller than medium bodied. The flavour intensity is fairly high with flavours of black cherry, violet, licorice, earth, mushroom and touch of steel. Ripe and fine medium tannin too. Long length with black plum finish. (93)

澎湃強烈的酒,但比想像中可以早點飲,酒有一定發展,有強勁酒力之餘更有一定複雜性,餘韻長,很好。 2003年是一個很熱的年份,這酒亦展現了其熱度,而且較早熟,亦有一點其田土特色,好味。

1977 Glen Scotia Single Malt Single Cask Cask Strength Whisky
This is a medium gold coloured single malt. On nose it has fairly high intensity aromas of malt, smoke, iodine, and touch of citrus peel, honey, vanilla and coconut. Water enhances its floral note. It is dry with medium acidity. Medium integrated alcohol with fuller than medium bodied. The flavours contain malt, citrus peel, vanilla and touch of tropical fruit, at slightly higher than medium level. Quite long length with caramel malty finish. (92)

酒有點陳年感,但亦可能是這陳年感令枝酒有一定質素。酒的大部份味度似乎都是由木桶來,令到酒有點點過度木桶的感覺。

2010 Clos De La Roche, Domaine Arlaud
A clear deep ruby dry red wine with quite high intensity aromas of red plum, earth, stewed cabbage, rose and touch of clove, sense of stalky. It has medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Soft ripe medium tannin with fairly high flavours of red plum, cabbage, blood, and touch of mint, strawberry and nutmeg. Fairly long length with red plum finish. (93) Good potential.

很早飲的酒,但也展現了它的質素,複雜的酒香及酒味,力度亦強,餘韻亦長。現在喝似乎仍須一點時間,因為酒的口感未發展得很融和,而且有部份酒味要"嗒"好耐至出現。有貨的不妨放下先。
