Medium pink colour with medium intensity of wild strawberry, tomato, red cherry, apple and touch of steel and chalk. Dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with fairly intense flavours of red apple, wild strawberry, limestone and chalk. Quite long aftertaste with red cherry finish. (92).

相對簡單了一點的酒,但紅果感覺很出色,後勁強,特別是礦物感,比酒香強烈。餘韻也算長。這酒在口中的表現比酒香更好,非常可口。

1974 Gordon & MacPhail Glenrothes SIngle Malt Whisly (Bottled in 2018)

A medium brown coloured single malt whisky with quite intense noses of coffee, caramel, raisin, toast, licorice and touch of orange and floral. Water enhances its floral notes. It is dry with medium acidity, quite high warming alcohol and full bodied. On palate it gives quite intense coffee, chocolate, licorice, almond, orange and touch of malt and smoke. Fairly long length with nutty finish. (94) Concentrated and good barrel work.

陳年感戰勝一切,濃濃厚厚,落些水化開才展示出酒的花香,酒力強勁自然不在話下,餘韻亦長,很好喝。酒的酒精強度算高,加冰喝會好一點。這酒口味是重的,喜歡輕巧的人可能不太接受。

Deep ruby coloured with pronounced level intensity noses of black plum, mint, black berry, rose, licorice, earth and touch of leather and road tar, it has medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with quite high tannin too. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black cherry, licorice, rose, road tar and earth. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (92)

2005 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

This dry red wine has quite intense ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of red cherry, leather, licorice, tea, damp wood and touch of mint. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with quite high in tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of red cherry, strawberry, tea, licorice, dried herb. Fairly long length with red cherry finish. (92)

套用食神內的薜家燕一句:BDM啊,好BDM啊! 濃濃的酒香和酒味完全展示BDM的特色,酒的濃度及餘韻亦表現出其高質素,好喝。仍有一段陳年能力,但現在已經很不錯。

1999 Clos Vougeot, Domaine Rene Engel

Deep ruby coloured dry red wine with quite intense aromas of rose, red plum jam, strawberry, earth, candied red berry, licorice and sweet spice. Medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied, medium fine grained tannin too. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of red plum, red cherry, mushroom, rose pedal, earth and licorice. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (93) Good nose but a bit coarse in palate

好靚的酒香,強而複雜,香氣範圍廣泛,由醬果到果,再到花,再加上田土和香料,十分吸引。酒味力度亦強,餘韻算長,好喝。二十年酒口感仍有一點稜角似的,否則更好。

Medium lemon colour with quite intense coconut, butter, lemon, honey, white flower and vanilla. Quite heavy. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with over medium intensity flavours of lemon, almond, honey, vanilla and touch of stone. Quite long length with lemon and nutty finish. (93) Good complexity

酒香的感覺頗濃厚,香味較厚重的感覺,令人覺得木桶的影響很大似的。酒入口後表現反而轉向薄的感覺,有點變化,亦多番一些礦物質感,餘韻算長 ,好飲。

This dry white wine has medium intensity lemon green in colour and quite intense noses of lemon, honey, vanilla, resins, white flower and trace of butter. Medium acidity, alcohol and full bodied with over medium intensity flavours of lemon, honey, vanilla, hazelnut and butter. Fairly long length with honey finish. (94)

口感豐盛,但酸度足,不至於口感膠油油,酒力強而有一定複雜性,餘韻也好,各方面發展也成熟,大勇的感覺,好飲。這酒應該慢慢嗒,好好感受其複雜性。

質素高,平衡公整的, 酒香算強而複雜,餘韻亦長,酒味的複雜性也很好,只是強度低了些,好喝。是一枝令人覺得有一定陳年而又發展得很平均的酒。

Medium lemon green in colour with qutie intense aromas of lime, cream soda, pear, red apple, steel, yeast, toast and walnut, fresh and complex. It is dry and quite acidic, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of lemon, honey, cream, red apple with touch of steel. Fairly long length with lime juicy finish. (94) Very fresh

19年酒但新鮮得接近神奇,酒香很出色,強、複雜、亦令人感到新鮮清爽。酸度足而又沒有削的感覺,口感綿餘韻長,酒在口中味道複雜性下降了一點,而果味亦成熟了一點,很好喝,是有一點令人驚喜的好喝。

1969 Teaninich Single Cask Single Malt Whisky (36 years old)

Medium gold in colour with quite intense aromas of grain, honey, smoke, weed and trace of malt, iodine and caramel. Water enhances its malty aroma. Dry with medium acidity, medium warming alcohol, quite full bodied with oily mouthfeel. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavour of honey, malt, almond, vanilla. Longer than medium length with honey and malty finish. A touch of bitterness at the back. (91)

像一款正統的舊制作威士忌。酒香不錯,有一定陳年感,口感厚厚,不嗆喉,酒味亦維持一定強度和複雜性,餘韻亦合格有餘,只是吞嚥後帶一丁點苦,未必人人喜愛,整體不錯,好喝的。
