2008 Ghvino Alaverdi

A deep ruby wine with medium red cherry, strawberry, coconut and vanilla, quite simple nose. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Medium intensity flavour of red plum, dried herb and touch of herbaceous. Medium tannin with slight stalky. Less than medium length with cherry fruit finish. (87) Simple and straight, good food wine with reasonable fruitiness.

簡簡單單，紅酒一枝，食飯飲好D，除了在口中的一點點乾了的香草味外沒有什麼令人印象深刻的。

2008 Georgian Valleys Saperavi, Georgian

This wine has a opaque ruby colour with some tears. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of redcurrant, dried herb, licorice and vanilla. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and medium bodied. Tannin is a bit green but fine grained. Medium intensity flavours of red cherry, licorice and herb with medium minus length of herbal tea finish. (86) Not too complex nor concentrated with slight bitterness at the back. Rather single dimension.

2007 Georgian Valleys Mukuzani, Georgina

Deep ruby wine with medium intensity aromas of red cherry, plum, vanilla and smoke. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Silky tannin at medium level and medium plus bodied. The flavours have red cherry, plum and vanilla, all at medium level intensity. Medium length with cherry finish. (87). A rather approachable style but simple and straight forward. A quite good wine for casual dinner.
