2003 Clos de Vougeot, Domaine Meo Camuzet

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of red plum, blood, wet earth, redberry jam, and licorice. Medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. Medium soft and ripe tannin with over medium intensity flavour of red plum, rose jam, earth and meat. Medium length with redberry jam finish. (91) Quite jammy, should have longer length.

酒香有點層次,較重的田土礦物味再帶出花果香,頗誘人。酒是會說給你知2003年是一個熱的年份,醬果味感覺重,單寧軟熟,可是餘韻有點比想像中短。好飲,但這酒莊的酒還要再作探索才可定斷。

Deep ruby colour with quite intense aromas of rose, mint, red plum, smoke, damp earth and hints of road tar, this dry red wine has medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied with medium fine grained tannin. On palate it has medium intensity flavours of red plum, mint, smoke, earth and toast. Medium length with plum finish. (91)

中上水平的巴洛洛。香氣及酒味的強度和複雜性頗一致,亦充份反映出田土特色,發展平衡成熟,可飲可陳,幾好味的。

Caol Ila 30 years Limited Release Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky

Medium gold colour. The nose has quite high intensity aromas of peat, smoke, honey, road tar, lemon jam. Water enhances honey and brings out malty notes. Dry with medium acidity, quite high alcohol and warming, quite full bodied too. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of lemon, peat, smoke, seaweed, cinnamon spice. Fairly long length with spicy finish, (93)

這酒廠的酒是可以感受由滿口煤泥味轉至蜜糖味的那種味覺旅程。酒是較烈的,可能是原桶關係,酒力強,有一定複雜性,餘韻長,好飲的,但我相信並不適合初飲者。

1990 Mackillop's Choice Macallan Signle Cask Whisky

Medium gold coloured single malt whisky with quite intense aromas of honey, toasted malt, cinnamon, dried hay, peat smoke, and touch of citrus peel. Water brings out touch of floral notes. Dry with medium acidity, medium integrated alcohol, medium bodied and some wood tannin. Smooth mouthfeel. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of honey, lemon, licorice and ginger. Fairly long length with honey and malty finish. (92)

像一些舊一點的麥卡倫,果味不及木桶的強,較猛較烈的感覺。酒香複雜性不錯,餘韻算長,幾好飲,但喜歡較多果味的可能失望。

2007 Vosne Romanee les Brulees, Domaine Leroy

Deep ruby with quite intense noses of rose jam, red berry, strawberry candy, cabbage, vanilla, toasted herb with touch of anise, this dry wine has slightly over medium flavour intensity on palate, with medium acidity, alcohl and bodied. Fine grained but touch of greenness tannin at medium level. The flavours contain red fruit and rose pedal, cabbage and touch of tea leaf and cinnamon. Close to long length with rose pedal finish.  這酒的香料味及果味平衡得很好。酒力算強,餘韻亦長,品質很高的。口感有點點青,在這年份來說有點點怪,但07年這年份的酒真的較能理解。酒好飲的,只是口感覺得有點怪。

1996 Ch. Margaux

This dry red wine has deep purple colour. On nose it has barely over medium intensity aromas of blackcurrant, black plum, violet, licorice, smoke and touch of pine. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite high fine and ripe tannin. Quite high intensity flavours of blue berry, black plum, licorice, pine wood, smoke and earth. Long length with black berry finish. (95)

瑪高的可口感真的很好,很複雜的香氣及酒味,給你一套工整的波爾多佳釀感。酒的味道表現比香氣好,餘韻亦長,好好味。只是酒香的強度差了點。

2000 Chateauneuf de Pape Cuvee Da Capo, Domaine Pegau

Deep purple with pronounced noses of red plum blackberry mint licorice lavender smoke and earth, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied, touch of alcohol note. The tannin is quite high but ripe and fine grained. On palate it gives quite high intensity flavours of redberry, plum, mint and licorice. Close to long length with red plum finish. (94) I think this one has some condition problem.Wonderful nose still.

 可能是酒的狀態有點點問題,酒的香氣很好,令人感覺有一定深度。餘韻長亦表現其質素,酒精感稍稍重了點點。問題在於口中,複雜度及深度跌得很快,甚至有點散。但整體仍是好飲的。我保留對這酒的評價,直至下次試枝狀態好些的。
