This is a dry red wine with deep ruby colour and slightly higher than medium intensity aromas of rose, red plum, black cherry, tea leaves and touch of mint. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied, medium tannin too  but a bit coarse. On palate it gives medium flavours of red cherry, plum, rose, tea and licorice. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (90)

白頭啊婆同紅頭分別真的有一點距離,但不是說這酒完全不入流。酒其實算好飲的,只是表現出另一種感覺罷了。 酒的香氣頗強,亦有一定複雜性,酒在口中顯現了標準黑皮諾的風格,有點優雅,但簡單了點,餘韻合格,不錯。

1998 Montevertine Le Pergole Torte

A deep ruby wine with fairly high noses of prune, black cherry, dried herb and touch of black cherry, very concentrated fruit. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and medium fine grained tannin. Quite full bodied with medium intensity flavours of black plum, sour black cherry, black tea, dried licorice and touch of hay. Long length with black plum finish. (91)

果感仍十分豐富,濃縮果汁似的。酒香以果香為主,但仍有 一定的香枓味,直到入口時酒的本性才展示出來。餘韻長,幾好飲。有貨的不妨過多兩三年至飲還可以。

1998 Ch. Palmer

This is a dry red wine with deep intensity purple colour. On nose it gives quite high intensity aromas of blackcurrant, black plum, blueberry, earth, violet and touch of bell pepper, licorice and graphite. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and fairly full bodied. Medium fine grained chewy tannin too. The flavours intensity is at slightly higher than medium level with flavours of blackcurrant, bell pepper, violet, earth, smoke and licorice. Slightly longer than medium length with black plum finish. (91)

這也是一個水準穩定的酒莊。酒的發展已差不多完全成熟 ,果感仍足,單寧有點咬口,酒味在口中簡單了些,餘韻亦冇想像中咁長,整體還不錯,好飲。

1995 Ch. Pape Clement

Deep purple colour with quite high intensity aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, earth, violet, licorice and touch of warm brick, vanilla and menthol, quite complex, it is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Quite full bodied with medium ripe and fine grained tannin. Slightly higher than medium flavours of blackcurrant, black plum, violet, licorice and touch of earth and mushroom. Long length with black cherry finish. (92)

這酒莊的酒真的好穩定,不論好年爛年水準都算高 ,酒有著田土特色,複雜而強烈,餘韻很長,亦吸引。好飲,只是酒味在口中弱了點。

2002 Ermitage De L'Oree, M. Chapoutier

Medium lemon in colour. On nose it gives barely over medium intensity aromas of lemon, peach, white flower, butter, and touch of tropical fruit, honey, coconut and mineral. Dry with barely medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied, a bit oily mouthfeel. The flavours contain lemon, vanilla, coconut, honey and oak. Longer than medium length with lemon vanilla finish. (89)

這酒區的酒常常缺乏酸度,但這酒算不錯了。酒香複雜性好,強度亦合格。酒體一貫的豐厚,油油的。酒味及餘韻也不錯,喜愛口感飽滿的人會喜歡此酒的。

2001 Chevalier Montrachet, Domaine Bouchard

Medium lemon coloured with quite high intensity aromas of lemon, amber, white flower, honey, vinyl chloride and touch of honey, almond and steel. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. On palate it has higher than medium flavours of honey, citrus, floral, vanilla and mineral. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (92) Decent and typical

頗標準的一枝酒,強烈複雜的酒香夾雜著豐滿的口感,只是酒味的強度低了點而且沒有層次感,餘韻亦很不錯,非常可口,值得慢慢品嚐。

2000 R&L Legras Saint Vincent Champagne

Medium lemon green colour with medium noses of lemon, red apple, bread, pear and touch of steel and chalk, it is dry with higher than medium refreshing acidity, medium alcohol and medium bodied, creamy mousse. On palate it has slightly over medium lemon, honey and touch of grapefruit, chalk and bread. Barely longer than medium length with grapefruit finish. (90)

十多年酒仍清清爽爽,果味清新又有一定田土特色,酒味在口中反而簡單了,餘韻尚算不錯,好好的一枝餐前香檳。

A medium lemon coloured dry white wine with fairly high intensity noses of lemon, floral, mineral, vanilla, amber, wet stone and touch of cream, zesty and fresh. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. The flavour intensity is higher than medium with lemon, floral, mineral, vanilla and touch of butter. Longer than medium length with honey and floral finish. (93)

以2002年來說可以做出如此清爽的酒真是難得。酒香複雜誘人,香氣亦算強。口感清爽醒神,有點點像檸檬草香薰的感覺。酒在口中相對酒香平淡了點,餘韻亦算合格,好飲之餘亦顯示到釀造者的功力。

1966 Longmorn Cask Collection Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2010)

This whisky has quite deep intensity copper colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of hay, honey, dates, lemon peel, dried apricot and touch of peat, caramel and hazelnut. Water dilutes its aromas. It is dry with medium acidity. Medium alcohol but slightly harsh. quite full bodied, a touch of wood tannin too. On palate it has slightly higher than medium intensity flavours of honey, citrus peel, apricot, malt, hay and touch of smoke. Long honey and jasmine finish. (93) A bit stronger sense of alcohol.

四十多年酒的酒精感仍有點強。酒香很好,四四正正,但加水後反而差了點。最好的是餘韻,長而吸引,相信這酒主要是陳年夠足而令酒質提升,酒底可能差了點,但已是不錯的酒了。

1989 Glenfarclas Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2014)

A medium copper coloured whisky with medium noses of peat, smoke, honey, lemon peel, jasmine and touch of caramel and apricot. Water increases its floralness but reduces its smokiness. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with touch of wood tannin. A bit wild. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium level with flavours of honey, jasmine, charcoal, lemon peel and touch of peat and caramel. Longer than medium length with honey lemon finish. (92)

這酒有點點狂野感的,煙燻味較突出,但仍不失其複雜性,加水後更覺酒的花香。口感醇和,酒味足而有一定複雜,餘韻亦合格,幾好飲。

1985 Glenfarclas Family Casks Single Malt Whisky

Medium copper colour with close to pronounced intensity aromas of citrus peel, honey, dried peach, caramel, roasted nuts and touch of coffee. Water gives out floral and tropical fruit notes. It is dry with medium acidity. Full bodied with higher than medium alcohol, well integrated tho. Touch of tannin detected. On palate it gives slightly higher than medium flavours of honey, lemon, caramel, toffee and touch of oloroso. Slightly longer than medium length with honey and caramel finish. (92)

香氣出色,加點點水後更加好。酒質醇厚,酒精感及單寧令人感到酒體宏大,酒味在口中複雜性差了點,強度亦然,餘韻短了點而扣了些分,但仍是好飲的,慢慢品嚐也不錯的烈酒。

二 十 七 · 再 會

「全部咪郁!」Eric 帶著幾位警員進入了 Wilson 的別墅。跟著進來的還有漆哥、Johnny、小詩妺及戴甘。


「咦!咁齊人呀!」Jeff 笑著說。


Edward 再一次到 Wilson 的別墅作搜證及化驗,而 Jim 則被扣留調查。Wilson 及 Jeff 則步出酒窖,看見剛到達的 Joe 及 Stephen,便說:「我都估到你地會搵到嚟。」


Joe 擧起手中那瓶從 Domaine du Pegau 拿來的 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée da Capo,笑著說:「我係咪要多謝你帶契我飲到呢支酒呢?」


「梗係!唔係你點搵到我。」

 
Joe 笑笑口說:「Cuvée da Capo。da Capo 意思即係 from the beginning。咁都估唔到係案發地點咩。」

一個月後,香港。


在 Wilson 家中,正舉行箸一場酒宴。


剛剛來到的 Peter Gor 叼著雪茄步向 Wilson 及 Yan,說:「方老板,我叫左人拎 D 珍藏嚟飲下。」


説話剛止,便見 Jacky 拖著 Lulu 並帶著一箱酒進來。他向著 Peter Gor 說:「你叫我拍賣回來的 Romanee Conti 在這
,使唔使開左佢透氣?」

「今日我的仔女已經準備左好多酒,而且仲有魚蛋帶來的 Masseto
大家飲下先啦!」Wilson 指向酒檯那方,那處放著戴甘所造的新出廠的香檳,也有漆哥和小詩妹所造的干邑和威士忌。

「你仲有果個仔呢?」 Peter Gor 問。


「你話 Johnny?」Wilson 回答:「無叫佢呀!Johnny 都唔飲得,叫佢來做乜?」


未幾,Jeff 拿著一支 1990 年的 La Tache 來,並對 Wilson 說:「呢支酒係喺 Joe 給我的那箱酒來的,一齊飲吧!」


Wilson 說:「好啊!等埋 Stephen 吧!我也有邀請他來。」


志趣相投、言談甚歡的酒聚,隨著 Stephen 到了之後開始了。


翌日,經過一天開心的酒聚,Jeff 在中午才起床。梳洗過後,門外來了一位速遞員,他向 Jeff 送遞了一封信件。


「咦!係 Joe 寄比我喎!」Jeff 看著信封說。拆信後,內裡有一張便條及一個酒標,便條寫著:

犯人每次犯案後都留下這個酒標,希望你可以幫忙。

後 記

這故事由我生日而起,也剛在我生日前完成,真好玩。


寫這個故事有點難。難的不是內容橋段。
可能是因為故事主題是關於葡萄酒,故事的資料、酒的歷史等等都可以隨手捻來。對我來說,難的是故事舖排;怎樣由一個場景引申至另一個,這個地方花了我一點時間。另一個困難是時間問題,本來已寫好了十個章節才連載,但由於私務關係,到尾有點趕稿的感覺。這令我認識到作家是一些了不起的人。

可幸的是我身邊的一班酒友,無時無刻都提供著大量笑話給我,
亦是他們在酒聚時給我他們對酒的見解,令我對品飲有另一些體會。

互聯網上各有關酒的討論區也爲這故事提供了一定養份,
令我寫時事半功倍。

二 十 六 · 閒 話

「進去。」


一扇大門澎一聲的把 Jeff 和 Wilson 關了在一個偌大的房間。

「哈哈,估唔到最後居然會係咁。」 Jeff 在這暗暗的房間跟 Wilson 說。


「今次唔知點收科了。」Wilson 回應著。


「有乜點?佢一定會向你 D 仔女發出正式的勒索信。唔係佢真係唔知點收科。」Jeff 笑了一下說。


「也是的。我們唯有等一下吧!」


「對,可能兩位神探一陣間會找到我們呢!」Jeff 說。


Wilson 點了點頭,跟著說:「橫掂有時間,不如開枝酒飲下啦!」


「我實話好!多謝先!」Jeff 奸笑著說:「呢度有乜好野先?」


「我堂堂一個資深收藏家,有咩會冇吖!」Wilson 笑笑的說。

 
「我地不如重溫下果次同 Peter Gor 飲果枝 1999 Vosne Romanee 1er Cros Parantoux?我早兩天在前面轉彎的那排酒架上看到。」


「好呀!你去攞酒,我去攞杯。」


兩人熟練的在這個禁錮著他們的地方走了一會,便把酒和杯子拿來,並優閒的品嚐著這傳世的佳釀。


Jeff 笑說:「諗返都幾好笑。你攪單咁野。兜兜轉轉又返反來,
而且仲係綁匪送你返屋企。計落佢都對你唔錯,鎖你喺個酒窖度,仲捉埋我呢個酒友同你飲。」

Wilson 微笑一下,便說:「也是的。鎖返我入我個酒窖入面都算係咁。
可能我平時對佢不薄吧,呢度只是有點涼吧了。」呷了一口酒後,Wilson 便說:「唔知佢要幾多贖金呢?」

「你 D 仔女識攪了。佢地都幾十歳人啦!你唔好當佢地仲係細路至得㗎!
咪搞到自己成個怪獸家長咁。佢地大家好唔好傾丶合唔合作到,呢 D 野佢地識處理啦!你要佢地跟著你舖果條路行,咁只係代表你當佢地係財産,冇當佢係人。路,還是等他們自己行吧!」

看著杯中紅紅的酒,Wilson 淡淡的說:「你說的也是,他們也應懂得處理。
再在市場上磨練一下,他們應該找到他們的出路的。」

「或者兩位神探搵到我地,到時贖金都慳返。」Jeff 說:「希望佢地明白我留低的提示啦!」

此時,酒窖的門打開了。一個中年人進來了。

「你來飲返杯吧,我也很久沒有跟你飲酒了。」Wilson 並沒有任何惶恐不安,而且還一邊說著,一邊倒了一杯酒,
並遞上去給他的管家-Jim。

「來,我們談談吧。」Wilson 說。

Jim 拿了酒杯,在酒窖的枱旁坐了下來。他喝了一口之後,
便帶些驚訝的說:「好酒啊!」之後更拿出他的手機拍攝酒瓶。

「點呀!使唔使比埋段 Tasting Note 你 Post 上網呀?我有時都唔明點解 D 人在網上出個貼講自己飲左咩酒,但個 Tasting Note 就 Copy 人地的。咁究竟出貼果個係咪冇飲到?定還是佢把口係乜都試唔到,
要抄人地?」Jeff 寸嘴的說。

Jim 怒視了 Jeff 一下,但也想不到如何辯駁。

「為什麼你要這樣做呢?」Wilson 問。

「都是酒花累事吧!」Jim 說。「早年見市場上炒賣酒花熾熱,我咪順勢買了點,
開始時見有點錢賺,而且有些朋友說他們也有興趣,我咪叫佢地比錢我,等我幫佢地買。」

Jeff 一路搖頭,並微笑的聽著。

「跟著呢?」Wilson 斟著酒問。

「之後我找到了一間近年成立的公司,他有足夠的貨給我買,
那我便跟他們買了,點知原來他們無實貨的,之後仲執埋,咁我咪蝕哂囉!而家仲差很多錢比返人。我已經將我的藏酒當雜貨咁賣,籌返 D 錢比人,但仍差很多。」

當 Jim 剛剛說完⋯⋯

酒窖的門開了⋯⋯
