This whisky has quite deep intensity copper colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of hay, honey, dates, lemon peel, dried apricot and touch of peat, caramel and hazelnut. Water dilutes its aromas. It is dry with medium acidity. Medium alcohol but slightly harsh. quite full bodied, a touch of wood tannin too. On palate it has slightly higher than medium intensity flavours of honey, citrus peel, apricot, malt, hay and touch of smoke. Long honey and jasmine finish. (93) A bit stronger sense of alcohol.

四十多年酒的酒精感仍有點強。酒香很好,四四正正,但加水後反而差了點。最好的是餘韻,長而吸引,相信這酒主要是陳年夠足而令酒質提升,酒底可能差了點,但已是不錯的酒了。
