2008 Amarone Della Valpolicella, Dal Forno Romano

A dark ruby coloured dry red wine with pronounced noses of black plum, anise, raisin, mint, dried herb, smoke and warm brick. Medium acidity and full bodied. A bit high in alcohol with medium soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black plum, black cherry, raisin, dried herbs, smoke and black tea, quite consistent. Fairly long length wtih black plum finish. (93) Rich and good nose, still evolving.

濃濃的香氣引人入勝，酒香強而複雜，亦展現出其風格。酒的單寧算是成熟柔順，餘韻亦長，充份表現出其質素。酒味在口中有點點轉化，現在仍在發展中，相信酒味的複雜性會進一步提升。有點期待。

2000 Amarone della Valpolicella, Quintarella Giuseppe

This wine has dark ruby colour. On nose it gives pronounced aromas of black plum, dried black cherry, prune, vanilla, clove, raisin, blueberry, and touch of tea, dried leaf and brandy. It is dry with medium acidity. A touch of high alcohol and full bodied. The tannin is wonderfully soft and ripe, at medium level. The palate has over medium intensity flavours of black berry, mint leaf, licorice, and bitter almond. Fairly long length with red cherry finish, a touch of bitterness is detected. (93) Good typicity.

Amarone，little bitter的意思當之無愧。酒香強勁複雜，亦反映出其品種特性和釀製方式。酒精感出了點但不會令人感到突兀，單寧更出奇的柔順。餘韻長，有一點點回甘，只是酒味相對簡單了點和弱了點，不過已經是一枝十分好的酒品了。

2008 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Zenato

A dry ruby wine with fairly high intensity aromas of red plum jam, raisin, vanilla, sweet herbs and touch of earth and brandy. Medium acidity and alcohol with full bodied. Tannin is soft and at medium level with medium flavours of red plum, vanilla, alcohol, raisin and touch of clove. Barely medium length with plum finish. (90)

此酒若不是因為夠濃厚的話，我是不會給這分數的。酒展示到其特色，複雜性亦合格，酒香比酒味吸引。酒味在口中弱了點，餘韻短到有點奇怪，佐餐會好一點。

2004 Amarone Classico Villa Cornaro

This dry wine is deep ruby in colour with a nose of sweet red berries, brandy and vanilla. It has medium tannin and body, and low to medium acidity. On palate, it gives raisin, red fruit and vanilla flavour together with a slightly warm alcohol. The finish is long. It is a good wine for food, especially for Chinese food. (92)
