2003 Clos du Marquis

If you talk about second wine, no one will argue that Clos du Marquis is one of the finest second wines in Bordeaux. This wonderful wine is much comparable to most of the 2^nd and 3^rd growth Grand Vin. Intensive nose is undoubtedly found and you can feel the whole skeleton of the wine. I expect that this wine will reach its peak a few years latter. Though Clos du Marquis is indeed made from grapes of another vineyard, I still wonder how beautiful the Leoville Las Cases will be in this good vintage. (90)
