2004 Ch. Leoville Poyferre

This is a deep purple coloured wine with quite pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, vanilla, black plum, vegetal with trace of bell pepper and smoke. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Fairly full bodied with quite high ripe and fine-grained tannin. Medium intensity on palate with flavours of black plum, vanilla, spice and touch of tobacco. Fairly long length with plummy finish (91) It shows ripe fruit and strong tannin. Wine is still developing but those who likes fruity wine may find it very enjoyable now.

質素好但仍須時間,鍾意果味重的人可能會覺得啱飲,但單寧仍重。
