Fair deep ruby colour with pronounced aromas of red berry jam, rose perfume, strawberry candy, toasted herb, mushroom, earth, ripe black cherry and touch of mint and smoke. It is dry with higher than medium acidity, medium alcohol and slightly fuller than medium bodied. Ripe and soft medium tannin with fairly high intensity flavours of red cherry, plum, wild strawberry and touch of licorice and cabbage. Long length with cherry jam finish. (94)

果香濃烈之餘不失優雅感,十分難得。酒力強,餘韻長而吸引,令人回味。似乎酒多陳幾年會更好。酒味的複雜性也比酒香差了點點,但現在飲已經好好味,正。

2005 Ch. Haut Brion Blanc

This is a medium lemon colour dry white wine with fairly high intensity aromas of honey, vinyl chloride, floral, grass cutting, sandalwood, ripe guava and touch of tropical fruit and mineral. Quite high acidity and medium alcohol, fuller than medium bodied with quite high intensity flavours of honey, lemonade, grass cutting and mineral. Long length with honey citrus finish. (95) Young but impressive.

仍然很年青,這酒仍有深厚的潛質仍未展現。酒香及酒力強,複雜性現階段還未充分出現,須要慢慢品嚐才會找到。餘韻長,亦吸引,好酒一枝,但須多一點時間,會是一枝令人難忘的酒品。

Medium lemon coloured with quite high intensity aromas of lemon candy, honey, peach, sweet vanilla, cream, touch of stone and butter, it is dry with slightly over medium acidity, medium alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Slightly over medium flavours of  honey, lemon candy, steel, peach and wet stone. Fairly long length with citrus finish. (92)

個人較喜歡較凍年份的CHEVALIER MONTRACHET。這酒展現了熱年份的熟果性格,缺少了點冷削感。酒香及酒味力度算強,也有一定的複雜性,可口好飲,餘韻算長,很不錯,只是我較喜歡較凍年份的吧了。

1993 Romanee St. Vivant, Domaine de la Romanee Conti

A medium ruby dry red wine with fairly high intensity noses of strawberry, fresh cabbage, pine, vanilla and touch of forest floor, tangerine peel. Dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied, medium fine-grained tannin too. On palate, it has slightly over medium intensity flavours of red plum, rose jam, damp earth, roasted vanilla and cabbage. Fairly long length with red plum and tea finish. (93)

這酒的享受過程是越來越好的。香氣很好,力度及複雜性皆不錯。入口後表現維持其高質素,餘韻亦長而誘人,好飲。

1993 Bonnes Mares, Domaine Comte Georges de Vouge

This wine has quite deep ruby colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of dried rose, red plum, stewed cabbage, wormwood and touch of earth, and mushroom. It is dry with medium acidity, a little bit sharp in nature. Medium alcohol, bodied and soft tannin. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of red cherry juice, rose tea, sour strawberry and touch of worm wood. Barely over medium length with rose tea finish. (91)

香氣給人複雜的感覺,有層次,雖然強度一般,但已令人覺得是好酒。入口後酒味的強度反而多了點點,但複雜性下降了不少。餘韻合格,但比起酒香是令人失望了些。整體好飲的。

Medium gold colour with fairly high intensity aromas of apricot, honey, jackfruit, orange peel and touch of steel and grass cutting. It has medium sweetness with slightly higher than medium acidity. Barely medium alcohol and quite full bodied. On palate it has slightly over medium intensity flavours of honey, peach, apricot, grass and orange peel. Barely over medium length with bitter orange finish. (89)

似乎複雜性不足是這酒的弱項。經過了三十多年的時間,酒味發展成熟,酒的酸甜度仍維持著,可見酒仍未在下坡,但要飲了,否則會開始下降。輕鬆好飲的。

Medium lemon colour with medium intensity aromas of honey, smoke, rubber, toast with touch of apricot, peat and seaweed. Water brings out floral note and increases its smokiness. Dry with medium alcohol and medium bodied. On palate it gives higher than medium intensity flavours of citrus, peat, smoke, honey with touch of vanilla. Long length with smoky and honey finish. 這酒會助你找回一點傳統蘇格蘭威士忌的感覺。酒的風格較多來自木桶的酒味,但不屬於猛烈的一種。餘韻很長,口感剛烈。如果喜愛一些較花果味重的人會覺得這酒很辣。很有風格的一款威士忌。

1966 Glen Grant Single Malt Whisky

This whisky has pale copper colour. On nose it has close to pronounced level aromas of honey, caramel, smoke, vanilla, nutmeg, pepper with touch of raisin, peat and orange peel. Water enhances its peatiness and smokiness. It is dry with medium integrated alcohol, quite full bodied with long length of citrus jam finish. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of honey, caramel, lemon jam, vanilla and touch of spice, oak and peat. (94) Well integrated and smooth.

足夠陳年的表現,酒香強勁複雜,香料及由木桶作主導,但入口後酒的果味轉強,加上醇厚的口感,悠長的餘韻,令人一再回味。只是酒味在口中的複雜性小了一點點,但已是一枝非常出色的佳釀。

A medium gold colour whisky with fairly high intensity of pinesol, honey, citrus, smoke and peat. Water increases its smokiness. It is dry with quite high warming alcohol. Medium bodied with touch of wood tannin. Slightly over medium intensity flavours of peat, smoke, citrus peel, clove with fairly long length of peaty and smoky finish. (92) Strong and smoky.

這酒質素幾好,雖然我個人不太喜歡較重煤泥味的威士忌。酒力及酒味都有一定的強度和複雜性,餘韻亦長。酒精感頗高,煤泥味突出,由頭到尾引領著這酒的味道和表現,很MAN,有點狂野感的。這酒比ARDBEG多一點點層次和香料味,十分適合重口味的飲家。

Hart Brothers 17 year old Single Malt Whisky

Medium lemon colour with pronounced aromas of lemon jam, pepper, vanilla, smoke, jasmine and touch of peat, coconut and sandalwood. Water enhances its fruitiness a lot. It is dry with medium integrated alcohol, medium bodied with slightly over medium intensity flavours of honey, lemon, vanilla, pinesol, licorice and pepper. Close to long length with citrus and peaty finish. (92) Is this really 17 years old?

誰說十幾年酒沒有好東西?當你知道這酒只有17年時,你是會有點驚嘆定它的表現。酒香強而複雜,酒味延續下去,餘韻長,這展示了酒的高質素,在口中的煤泥味重了點,但仍是一枝很有風格及好飲的威士忌。有機會試的話不要錯過。

This is a dry single malt whisky with medium copper colour. On nose it has slightly over medium intensity aromas of raisin, vanilla, orange peel, honey and touch of smoke and pepper. Water enhances its floral note but reduces the others. It has medium integrated alcohol, quite full bodied and slight tannin. Slightly higher than medium intensity flavours of caramel, raisin, orange peel and honey. Fairly long length with caramel and raisin finish. (92)

有點點拔蘭地的感覺,濃厚的果香,頗重口的,餘韻長,果味太熟而導致感覺很甜。這酒較合喜愛重口味的人,但好像沒有了威士忌的特色似的。

A medium lemon coloured dry whisky with fairly high intensity aromas of lemon syrup, honey, licorice, vanilla and touch of ripe mango. Water increases its tropical fruit aromas. Medium warming alcohol with quite full bodied, touch of tannin is detected. On palate, it gives medium intensity flavours of lemon jam, honey, vanilla and touch of licorice and spice. Fairly long length with citrus peel finish. (91)

The Balvenie 的酒是從不令我失望的。酒香有力複雜,餘韻亦長,酒味雖則差了點,但以14年酒來說交足貨有餘,酒精感在口中重了點,整體來說也算不錯了。

This whisky has medium intensity gold colour. On nose it gives close to pronounced intensity aromas of orange peel, spice box, apricot, sandalwood, and trace of smoke, quite ripe yet elegant. Water brings out caramel and fruitcake notes. Dry with medium integrated alcohol. Full bodied and fairly high flavour intensity. The flavours contain vanilla, honey, orange peel, apricot with traces of smoke, oak and clove. Fairly long length with sweet spice finish. (92)

這蒸餾廠的酒的性價比幾高,希望唔好越來越貴。酒香頗成熟,果香味與木桶味混合得好香。酒力和複雜性也不錯,餘韻亦算長,好飲,廿多年酒有這樣的表現值得讚。
