1999 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses, Domaine Robert Groffier


Deep ruby coloured with close to pronounced level aromas of black plum, meat, smoke, earth, sandalwood, anise and rose. Medium acidit, alcohol and bodied. Quite high ripe and fine grained tannin with quite high flavours of black plum, blood, rose, smoke, earth and touch of rain forest. Long length with plum and spicy finish. (92) Good after taste but a bit meaty.

老實說這葡萄園的酒我較喜輕柔感多一些的。這酒較厚重,但不是說它不好。酒的強度香氣酒味複雜性也在中上之列,單寧成熟柔順,餘韻更值得一讚,酒的質量來說十分高。只是欠缺了些這村那陰柔的感覺,取而代之的是厚實較MEATY的風格。好好酒來的。

2011 La Grande Rue, Domaine Francois Lamarche

A deep ruby dry red wine with pronounced level aromas of rose perfume, red cherry jam, strawberry candy vanilla, nutmeg, and touch of cedar. Medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives quite high flavours of red plum strawberry, vanilla, cedar and rose. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (92) Quite jammy and full. Need better palate.

我說過這莊的酒越來越好,其中一項是因為越來越濃。2011年的這酒濃至有強強的醬果味,而且亦有一定香料的複雜性,很吸引。酒體豐厚,單寧成熟,一點也不像2011年,相信他們選擇葡萄時下了一定功夫。酒味在口中保持強度,只是複雜性下降了點,餘韻亦長,好好味。

2010 Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots du Milieu, Domaine Arnaud Ente

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense noses of rose, black plum, black cherry, vanilla, toast, licorice  and touch of mushroom and cabbage, quite complex. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied. Tannin is quite high but fine and ripe. On palate it gives over medium flavours of black cherry, plum, rose, vanilla, toast and touch of smoke and earth. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (92)

一枝VOLNAY能做到如此出色,十分難得。酒的香氣強而複雜,亦有一點變化。酒味延續著酒香的複雜性及強度,餘韻長。這酒身的果味及香料味均衡,在現今來說十分討好,是會令人喜愛的口味。酒還可以再陳放一下,但現飲也十分好味了。

2011 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots, Domaine Francois Lamarche

This dry red wine has quite intense ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced aromas of black plum, strawberry jam, licorice, prune and earth. Medium acidity, alcohol and medium bodied. Quite high tannin and fine grained in nature. The flavour intensity is at medium level with flavours of rose, red plum, vegetal, cabbage, licorice and dried herb. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (91)

 要重新去認識的酒莊,這莊做的酒越來越好。最初我是從他的LA GRANDE RUE發現的,2000年左右的我全試過,但不覺得那麼好,近這幾年的真的很不錯。這酒有中上的強度和複雜性,餘韻亦長,好味道。

1961 Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky by G&M (bottled in 2012)

Medium copper colour with quite intense aromas of ginger, vanilla, honey, orange and touch of prune and smoke. Water brings out some floral notes. Dry with medium acidity, well integrated alcohol at medium level, quite full bodied with touch of wood tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of lemon, ginger, honey and touch of vanilla and smoke. Fairly long length with honey and ginger finish. (93) Wood saves the drink.

50年的威士忌,在木桶中50多年已經充分提取了足夠的酒味,酒的強度及複雜性很好,餘韻亦算長 (我加了個算字是因為50年的酒我想像中應該更長),香料味足,好飲。GLENLIVET的酒底本身較輕巧,50年的酒便令至酒的桶味完全主導了,酒味在口中有點不及酒香的吸引,但已經很不錯了。
