2000 Colgin

This is a dry red wine with deep purple colour. On nose it gives intense blackcurrant, black plum, black cherry, red flower, smoke, pine wood, quite fresh and fruity. It has medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied and  silky tannin. On palate it has intense flavours of blackcurrant, bell pepper, wood shaving, red cherry and earth. Fairly long length with wood shaving type spicy finish. (93) Fruity nose with huge different mouthfeel. Good development.

這酒的酒力很強,簡稱大大隻,符合美國酒的風格。令我欣賞的是酒在口中的轉化。由果味重的酒香,入口後轉成香料為主的口味,那種感覺令人有驚喜,值得加分,酒在口味上的複雜性不及香氣的複雜性,但也有一定程度,好喝。

蒼龍葡萄酒(中口)

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense noses of Rebina, bubble gum, black plum, and trace of candied berry and mint. Very fruity. Off dry with medium acidity, medium minus alcohol and medium body. Light and smooth tannin. On palate it give over medium intensity flavours of grape juice, plum candy and trace of steel. Barely medium length with plummy finish, (86) Gulpable wine. Very juicy, and only juicy, better than juice anyway.

你們種的是蘋果,結果當然是蘋果,你們種的是菠蘿,結果怎會變啊婆。Concord 這種葡萄,仲要造成中口,結果真的是一枝充滿果汁感的酒,而且可以大大啖咁飲。如果硬係要搵一款近似的舊世界酒去類比,這酒似是一枝厚實而且有點甜的保祖里。相信一些女仕會很喜歡這酒。

1996 Ch. Lafite Rothschild

This dry Bordeaux has deep purple colour. On nose it has pronounced aromas of black plum, fresh blackcurrant, violet, black cherry, smoke, trace of pencil shaving and cedar. Medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied with ripe and smooth medium tannin. The flavours intensity is quite high with flavours of black cherry, violet, blackcurrant, red bell pepper and trace of tea and pencil wood. Fairly long length with black cherry finish, such length and complexity deepened after another two hour drinking. (95)

廿幾年的酒仍在不斷轉化中,香氣及酒味仍有一段時間可以發展,現在飲已經好好飲了。酒的力度強,複雜性仍然在増強中,很精彩的一枝酒。酒的口感給人四平八穩的感覺,各方面也是站在一個高水準的平衡點,讚!

2006 Vosne-Romanee 1er Aux Reignots, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense noses of rose jam, red plum, red berry jam, smoke, clove, earth, vanilla and cinnamon type spices. Medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with smooth tannin. On palates it has quite intense flavours of rose jam, red plum jam, red berry, mushroom and licorice. Fairly long length with rose finish. (92)

仍然是一貫醬果的味道和感覺,這枝酒的香料味很出色,像是一個香料架一樣。酒力強餘韻長,好酒一枝。這個莊的造法雖然大大増加了酒吸引大眾的能力,但減少了酒的田土獨特感覺,真係有點難取捨。
