2007 Romanee St. Vivant, Domaine Sylvain Cathiard

This dry red wine has quite deep intensity ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of candied strawberry, rose, mint, flower garden and trace of wormwood and toasted herb, quite elegant. Medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium intensity tannic, a touch of greenness though. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of rose, red cherry, vanilla, sandalwood, mint and earth. Long length with rose finish. (93)

這種幽香的酒香真的引人入勝。酒的香味充滿花香之餘更有甜甜的果感,十分吸引。酒的口感優雅,餘韻長,好好飲,連香料味也是充滿幽香感,正。要彈的只有單寧有點點青,否則冇得頂。

2011 La Tache, Domaine de la Romanee Conti

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with intense aromas of rose, red plum candy, berry jam, vanilla, licorice, cinnamon, smoke and touch of menthol, very complex nose. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is soft and fine grained at medium level, round mouthfeel. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of rose jam, red plum candy, vanilla, cabbage, licorice and sweet spice. Close to long length with red plum finish. (94) Delicious

再次確定2011年的布根地是比想像中好。酒的酒力、複雜性、口感、餘韻全屬出色的表現。品飲時是會感受到酒的優雅。這年份的評價真的是低估了。好好喝,相信再陳年會更精彩。

2012 Romanee St. Vivant, Domaine de la Romanee Conti

A deep ruby dry red wine with quite intense noses of rose jam, red plum, red berry, vanilla, licorice, mushroom, earth and cabbage. Dry with medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. Medium tannin and soft. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red plum, rose jam, red berry candy, vanilla and damped wood. Fairly long length with red berry candy finish. (92) Touch of bitter at the back, good candied fruit.

醬果的香氣對這酒來說已經是預期之內。這似的更有點像糖果的感覺。酒力強而有其接近標誌性的複雜性,濃厚而再加多一點甜蜜,很討人喜愛。酒的餘韻長。各方面的味道組合也有,是一件漂亮的作品。唯一對品飲有點影響的是酒的單寧。酒還新,可以陳年一下,會有更有趣的品飲感受。

1971 Salon

This dry champagne has medium intensity lemon colour. On nose it gives quite intense aromas of stewed apple, honey, caramel, lemon custard and trace of steel. Surprisingly quite acidic with medium alcohol and full bodied. Creamy and going to smooth white wine type mouthfeel with intense flavour of stewed apple, honey, lemon, steel and caramel on palate. Long length with honey lemon finish. (93) Good development, unlike its age.

出奇的年青,酒味當然已經發展成熟,從香味的描述已看到酒香已和諧地混合。酒的酸度出奇的好,不是很酸,但以50年的酒仍有這酸度是很有活力的。餘韻長,亦展現酒的力量和質素。這酒有成熟香檳的表現而又有一定的活力,令人印象深刻,這表現相信 ex-domaine 有直接影嚮。
