1969 Strathisla Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2014)

Medium mahogany coloured with close to pronounced intensity aromas of raisin, dates, prune, sweet malt, honey, apricot, caramel and hazelnut. Water enhances maltiness and brings out smoky nose. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium tannin. Quite intense flavours of prune, dates, sweet malt, honey and apricot. Fairly long length with honeyed dates finish. (95) Full and rich, a concentrated whisky

濃郁度高,發展成熟之餘亦充滿複雜性,難得。酒桶的影響很大,但並沒有蓋過酒的本身。口感豐滿而平衡,好飲。酒質感覺較甜 亦重,酒力強,令人滿足的,讚~!

1998 Dom Perignon P2

Medium lemon green coloured with quite intense noses of lemon, honey, mineral, wet stone, ripe red apple and touch of steel. It is dry but quite acidic, medium bodied with creamy mouthfeel. On palate it has quite intense flavours of lemon, apple, ripe pear, limestone mineral, steel. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (93) 20 years old but fresh, good flavour balance.

味道很好 ,好在酒的香氣和味道平衡,沒有那一類特別突出而蓋過其他,酒力及酒味也強,有一定複雜性而且餘韻亦長,有齊一切好酒的因素,工十年有多的酒仍有這酸度和鮮爽感,正。

1988 Penfolds Grange

A deep intensity purple coloured dry red wine with quite intense aromas of dried blackcurrant, black plum, prune, mulberry, smoke and dried herb. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite intense ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate it has quite intense flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry, and trace of mushroom, licorice and vanilla. Fairly long aftertaste with black cherry finish. (93)

三十幾年的酒還像十多年的酒一樣,這款酒的陳年能力真是厲害。 酒力強,亦有一定複雜性,加上長的餘韻,擺明話你知它的高品質。酒無疑可以再陳年,現飲已經不錯,亦有一定想像空間。再多放五至七也無問題。

2003 Cote Rotie La Mouline, E. Guigal

A deep ruby purple coloured dry red wine with quite pronounced level aromas of prune, black plum, dried black cherry, raisin, and trace of smoke and toast. Medium acidity, alcohol and full bodied with quite high soft and ripe tannin. The flavours intensity is quite high with flavours of black plum, prune, dried black cherry, raisin and touch of smoke and pepper. Fairly long length with black cherry finish.(93) Still young.

即使15年,仍然很後生,雖不至於殺嬰,但也是太早飲了。酒的強度不容致疑,酒香的複雜性像是剛剛展露,酒味強度亦高,只是複雜性仍須時發展,餘韻亦長,酒現時仍以乾果為主,假以時日會更好。
