This whisky has medium gold colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of sweet malt, honey, smoke, cinnamon and trace of toast. Water brings out tropical fruit notes. Dry with medium acidity, quite full bodied with medium alcohol. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of lemon, peach, caramel, smoke and vanilla. Medium length with honey citrus finish. 很商業化的感覺。中等的表現,果甜味及桶味的平衡,中等的酒精度數及略帶重身的酒體,全是大路的酒款設定。正路,但沒什麼風格。我不是說它品質差,只是沒有特色吧了。

2010 Schloss Halbturn Pinot Noir, Baron Waldbott-Bassenheim

Deep ruby coloured with medium noses of red plum, meat, earth, black cherry and trace of game, smoke. Quite heavy indeed. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium soft tannin. The flavours contain red plum, cherry, earth, blood and trace of smoke and licorice. Over medium flavour intensity with medium length and red plum finish. (90) A bit heavy and need more vibrancy

較重田土味的黑皮諾,各項表現四四正正,是一款較重味的酒,味道厚重,有點欠缺生氣似的,但亦有一定複雜性,很視乎個人喜好的一款酒。

2010 Chambolle Musigny, Domaine Comte Georges de Vouge

Deep ruby colour with medium nose of red cherry, raspberry jam, rose, mint, floral field, vanilla and licorice. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with quite high ripe and soft tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, raspberry, rose, mushroom and tea. Fairly long length with red cherry finish. (91) Shows some elegance with decent flavour profile.

三支中這枝的風格最像樣,在口中的表現亦是最好,雖然香氣方面不及09年的,但酒的香氣一點也不差,只是強度有點不足。餘韻不錯,待一些時候單寧再低一點會更好,給它一點時間吧......

2009 Chambolle Musigny, Domaine Comte Georges de Vouge

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with over medium intensity aromas of meat, black plum, blood, red cherry, dried rose, earth and smoke. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium soft tannin. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of red plum, rose, strawberry juice, licorice and vegetal. Medium length with red cherry finish. (90) A bit heavy, ripe and rich flavour but a bit weak in mid palate.

比08年的多一些複雜性,味道層次亦多一點,強度亦強一點。亦貫徹著較厚重的風格。酒的香氣比口中表現好一些,酒在口中有一點點空洞,餘韻亦算好。濃厚的餐酒。

Medium ripe and fine grain tannin with medium length and red cherry finish. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, strawberry, tea, mushroom and licorice. (90) Ripe fruit and straight forward

直飲三步曲第一枝,果味足,簡單直接的濃厚果感,撲鼻而至。酒在口聿表現中規中矩,有一定發展而又不失果味,幾好飲。但個人覺得這村酒造得略為厚重,欠點優雅。

2004 Chevalier Montrachet, Domaine Leflaive

Medium lemon coloured with quite intense noses of lemon, toasted oak, white flower, hazelnut, chalk, mineral and trace of honey, it is dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with intense flavour of lemon, honey, mineral, vanilla, oak and sesame. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (94) Great balance of nose and flavours, good development too.

頗強勁的酒,是整體的酒力強勁。酒的發展不錯,但應該會再進一步。酒體豐富,花果木石各味紛陳,平衡圓滿,好好飲的。酒是開始進入成熟的感覺,好好享受吧......

2002 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

A dry red wine with deep purple colour. On nose it has pronounced aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, cherry, loads of black fruit, dried fig, cedar, vegetal, warm brick and trace of dust and mint, very complex. Medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied and quite high ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate, it gives over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, plum, tea, earth, licorice and trace of cedar and dust. Over medium length with black cherry finish. (92) Wonderful nose.

這酒很香,香到只想揸住個杯一路聞 ,酒香又強又複雜。酒味也不錯,但不及酒香,酒味發展頗快,強度亦可,餘韻算長,好味道,但聞比喝的享受更好。

Chivas 38 year Royal Salute Blended Whisky

A medium intensity copper coloured dry whisky with quite intense aromas of floral, sweet cinnamon, honey, ginger and touch of dates and sawdust. Water dilutes everything. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. On palate it gives quite intense spice, lemon, cinnamon, honey and touch of caramel notes. Fairly long length with spicy finish. (93)

雖然是38年的酒,但仍有一種頗商業化的味道。味道範圍寬,酒力強,餘韻亦長。酒味在口中平穩四正,令人覺得很大路,証明廠方調較得好。不錯,但我建議最好別加水或冰,直飲最好。

1994 Glenfarclas Family Casks Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2017)

Medium copper colour with quite intense noses of raisin, dried malt, toasted spice, apricot and touch of smoke and ginger. Water enhances its smokiness. Dry with medium acidity, quite high in alcohol and full bodied. Fairly high flavours of honey, smoke, dried spice, toasted malt and touch of seaweed and ginger. Fairly long length with honey and nutty finish. (93)

這酒從木桶上抽取大量味道,很重身亦很重味,雪利酒的乾果甜口感覺,酒有點烈,入口亦頗豐滿,重口味之選,酒力強,亦複雜,餘韻不錯,很好的酒品。這酒跟之前的1977年同時品飲,對比很強烈,有趣。

It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with touch of wood tannin. Quite intense flavours of honey, sweet spice, vanilla and touch of floral. Fairly long honey and malty finish. 較為少木桶影響的一款酒,酒底不錯,有一定複雜性和陳年感,只帶著一點點的木單寧和泥煤,很純正的感覺,亦不覺重口味。酒在口中比酒香好,建議加一丁點水更佳,易入,輕鬆舒服的烈酒。
