2011 La Romanee, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense aromas of black plum, rose, cherry, earth, tangerine perfume with trace of anise, very complex indeed. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied too. The tannin is soft at medium level. On palate it gives fairly high intensity flavours of cherry, rose perfume, plum, strawberry jam, licorice and vanilla. Close to long length with red berry finish. (96)

事先聲明,這酒我有一部份分是因為酒的結構而比的。酒的強度及複雜性也是很高,酒香誘人,而且貫徹著這酒那種輕巧花香加濃重醬果的香氣,應該吸引到不 同人士的口味。這酒莊的2011年不知做了什麼可以令酒的單寧如此柔順,即使村酒也是,酒味也強,餘韻長,難得的佳釀。講返酒的結構,這酒的結構在於不會給人柔軟感,是會令人感到有一點東西在口中架起的感覺。這種感覺跟我在飲 ROMANEE CONTI 時也感到一樣,可能這就是葡萄園的威力吧,畢竟飲得太少了,哈哈......

2011 Romanee St. Vivant, Domaine de la Romanee Conti

This dry red wine possesses deep ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of black plum, cherry, smoke, strawberry jam, rose perfume and touch of sandalwood and forest floor. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is at medium level but touch of greenness. On palate it gives fairly intense flavours of red cherry, plum, rose pedal, licorice, smoke and toasted wood. Fairly long length with red cherry finish. (93)

跟同年的 LA TACHE 一起飲,這酒的單寧青了點,這才是我印象中的2011年。酒的力度很強,而且複雜,餘韻亦長,好酒。酒味沒有酒香那樣的醬果感,但味道層次分明,也是一個好處。酒貫徹著這酒莊的高質素,好味道。

Medium dusty tannin too. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of strawberry, rose, red plum, red cherry, smoke, licorice and trace of vegetal. Long cherry finish. (94)

這酒的質素是後勁。酒香強度不算太突出,但十分複雜,酒入口內才展現出豐富的酒味。餘韻長而吸引,好喝。2011年的酒的單寧如此表現比想像中好。酒當然是早飲了,但口感亦是很美好的,過多幾年會更放光彩吧。

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine wine pronounced aromas of black plum, cherry, rose, vanilla, pinewood, flower garden and touch of smoke and sweet spice. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate it has quite intense flavours of rose, red cherry, ripe strawberry, licorice, smoke and touch of cedar. Fairly long length  with rose and cherry finish. (95)

精彩的酒香,強勁而複雜,有一種吸引人去發掘的力量,很有想像空間的酒香。酒的單寧尚算熟及滑,餘韻充滿果香,令人回味。酒味在口中的想像空間比較少,但層次分明,很不錯。一枝好酒,值得慢慢品嚐的好酒。

Medium lemon green colour with quite intense aroma of lemon, red apple, honeysuckle, cream and touch of steel and chalk. It is dry but quite high acidity, medium bodied and alcohol, creamy mouthfeel. On palate it gives quite intense flavour of lemon, honey, cream, apple, chalk and steel. Fairly long length with lemon candy finish. (94)

頗出色的作品,酒力強勁餘韻長,口感綿綿,果味出眾亦有一定礦物感支援,工整企理,中上質素的表現。現在飲酸度高了點點,但已經比想像中低,因此我亦估計這酒可以早一點進入適飲期。喜歡較酸一點的朋友甚至已可以飲,當然陳年多一下會有更多發展。好喝。

Mortlach 25 years old Single Malt Whisky

This whisky has medium gold colour and quite intense noses of honey, toasted malt, hay, smoke, and touch of butterscotch, guava. Water brings out floral notes. Mediuam acidity, alcohol and qutie full bodied with touch of wood tannin. On palate it have over medium intensity flavours of hoeny, sweet malt, vanilla, and touch of raw almond. Longer than medium length with honey lemon finish. (91)

有點重重的麥味,粗獷的感覺,加點水或冰香味好一些。酒的複雜性不錯,各方面也有點,但也只是有一點,不多也不太強,酒味在口中有一點變化,餘韻亦算好,整體是一枝不錯的酒 ,幾好飲,但不算很大路的。

Medium copper in colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of sweet malt, honey, toasted spice and trace of tangerine, peat and smoke. Water drings out dried fruite notes. It is dry with medium acidity, medium smooth alcohol, quite full bodied with trace of wood tannin. It also has over medium intensity flavours and length. The flavours contain lemon, ginger, dates and touch of hoeny, smoke and pear. Honey ginger finish too. (92) Subtle fruit with responsible complexity. Commercial as usual.

合理的複雜度,適中的強度和餘韻,四四正正的一枝符合大眾口味的威士忌。MALT MASTER應記一功。整枝酒很大路,另一個角度即是沒什麼風格,頗易入口,加冰剩飲也不錯,輕鬆的。

Medium fine grained tannin too. On palate it has quite intense flavours of black cherry, plum, tea, rose and trace of wood. Longer than medium length with black cherry finish. (92) Loads of black fruit.

ALL BLACK 的感覺。酒力強勁的。酒的味道較初段,沒有什麼發展似的。餘韻長,酒的表現說出了它的強度和濃郁度,只是我對這酒的複雜性存有一點點好奇。畢竟二十幾年了,再發展下去會不會令其有所增加呢?

Deep ruby coloured dry red wine with close to pronounced level of armoas, strawberry jam, black plum, rose, sandalwood, pine, trace of red flower garden. Nice floral notes. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Fine grained medium tannin too. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, red plum, red tea, licorice, rose and touch of mushroom. Fairly long length wtih black cherry finish. (93) Jammy nose with lighter palate, some depth too.

花香味很吸引,酒香與酒味表現不同。酒香的果味較醬果,酒味的較清新,酒的味道有一定層次,頗有深度。口感仍是有點重,還可陳年一段時間,現在喝不出這葡萄園如絲般的酒質。

This dry white wine has medium intensity lemon green colour and quite intense noses of lemon, sttel. floral, honey, vanilla and chalk. Medium refreshing acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. On palate it has quite intense flavours of lime, floral, mineral, vanilla, chalk and trace of steel. Close to long length with hoeny lemon finish. (94) Precise and concentrated.

好飲得有點驚喜。酒力強勁餘韻長,複雜性也很不錯。酒沒有很礦物的感覺。各種味道的平衡很好,所以很易令人覺得好味。但這是一枝只有7年的酒,以這進程和表現來說可能枝酒的適飲期會很快,現在已經不錯了,再過一兩年應該狀態大勇,是比較早熟的酒。
