2023 Beaujolais Village Primeur, Domain Leroy

This dry wine has deep intensity purple colour. On nose it has over medium intensity aromas of candied red cherry, bubblegum, banana, strawberry jam and touch of vanilla, pretty jammy fruit. Medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied with barely medium tannin. Touch of alcohol sticks out. On palate it gives over medium flavours of red plum, cherry, licorice and tea. Barely medium length with red cherry finish. (89) Simple and short length but ripe fruit.

第一個感覺的是,2023年的酒果味應該很熱很成熟,這酒果味濃郁,接近醬果的味道,酒精感有點點突出。酒味方面比較簡單直接,合乎這酒的風格。餘韻有一點短,但以大啖飲的酒來說是可以接受的。幾好喝,不過2023年要再試多一點才見真章

2021 Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge, Maison Leroy

Medium ruby coloured with quite intense noses of candied raspberry, banana, bubble gum, red flower and licorice. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and barely classified as medium bodied. The tannin is barely at medium level and touch of stalky nature. The flavour intensity is quite intense with flavours of red cherry, raspberry and floral. Medium length with red cherry finish. (88) Powerful but simple

淨係阿婆兩個字都話俾你聽呢支酒嘅酒力好強,但係這支酒的唯一優點就是酒力強,不論在酒香及酒味方面也是。酒的風格,其實是偏薄身及簡單的,再加上正常的餘韻,變成一支中上的餐酒,幾好喝,但不要與阿婆的其他酒相比

2019 Coteaux Bourguignons, Maison Leroy

This is a dry white burgundy with medium lemon colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of  lemon, vanilla, amber, honey, white flower. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied too. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of honey, lemon, vanilla and oak. Bit longer than medium length with lemon honey finish. (91) Good nose but needs more complexity

香氣很不錯,雖然強度只是中等,但複雜性算強。可是酒在口中的複雜性一去不返,但是酒力反而強返一點,很有趣。除了香氣之外,這是一支普通的布根地白酒。

A medium lemon coloured dry white wine with medium intensity noses of lemon, cream, honey, vanilla and touch of white flower. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with medium intensity flavours of lemon, mineral, honey, cream soda and touch of vanilla butter. Medium length with honey lemon finish. (90) Round and full wine.

豐滿紮實,酒的強度雖然只是一般,但也有着一點填土的風味,餘韻合格,正正常常的,以這村的酒來說是合格有餘,沒有驚喜,但以這村來說亦沒有投訴。

Deep purple coloured with quite intense noses of banana, bubble gum, candied cherry and trace of red flower and touches of cinnamon spice. Fresh and clean red fruit. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with barely smooth tannin. On palate it gives medium intensity flavours of red cherry, strawberry and touch of clove. Barely medium length with red cherry finish. (87) Gulpable wine and good fruit but nothing but fruit

比乎比往年的簡單了一點。大大啖喝的酒,反而似返一枝正常的保祖厘。不是說它不好,而是早兩年的更好。這次回復返一枝可以早喝,亦應該早喝的酒,以保祖厘來說是一枝中上的酒。不太需要放,只須要放口大口喝。

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense noses of rose perfume, red plum jam, strawberry candy, anise, mushroom and trace of smoke, a feeling of smelling candy. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium tannin, touch of greenness. The flavour intensity is quite intense with flavours of red plum, rose, strawberry jam, sweet herb and touch of tea. Longer than medium length with dried plum finish. (93)

接近標誌性的士多啤梨糖,醬果香再加上充足的香料味,令人喜愛。酒力強勁,餘韻亦算長,好飲。可能是年份問題,酒的單寧有點點青的感覺,酒味的發展比想像中快,但不失現在品飲的享受,可陳年,但我相信這年份的相對下可以早些飲。

2015 Bourgogne, Leroy

Deep ruby coloured with quite intense aromas of black plum, black cherry, dried rose, smoke, vanilla and touch of cabbage, it is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Medium soft and ripe tannin too. On palate it has medium intensity flavours of black berry, rose, dried strawberry and licorice. Longer than medium length with black berry finish. (89) Delicious and readily drinkable, good fruit but a bit hollow in mid palate.

[喂,幾好飲喎! ],這句說話是我喝完第一口之後跟人說的。果味充足,有一定複雜性,口感也算順口,酒味在口中簡單了點,足夠的餘韻,飲得輕鬆愉快的。而且此酒仲可以放下,待那仍有丁點削的酸也走埋就仲正。

Deep ruby coloured with pronounced noses of rose, red plum, menthol, red cherry, and touch of funnel, and vinyl-chloride. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with fine grained tannin. On palate it has medium intensity flavour of red cherry, plum, vanilla and spice box. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish, (91?) A bit off condition, touch of cork taint too. Can I have another bottle?

 這酒有點點問題,有點點CORK,但不太影響佐餐。酒的香氣很濃,仍很年輕的。花果味很重。餘韻算長,只是酒味在口中下跌了些。所以評價仍是一個問號,有待觀察。

2004 Nuit St. Georges, Domaine Leroy

Deep ruby with touch of haziness. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of mushroom, red plum jam, rose jam, toasted vanilla and touch of anise. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. Medium soft tannin but a touch of greenness is detected at the back. Higher than medium flavour intensity with flavours of red cherry, plum, rose jam, licorice and redberry jam. Fairly long length with red berry finish. (91) Jammy but a bit masking on its character.

酒的風格有點晦暗的,但不是不好飲。04年酒這樣濃真的令人難以想像。酒香又強。酒味濃郁,又有一定複雜性。餘韻亦算長,好好味。但有樣始終唔明的問題是:點解這莊04年的酒顏色是有點混濁的呢?

Medium lemon colour with over medium intensity noses of lemon, ripe pear, peach, mineral, white flower and touch of vanilla, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of lemon, honey, ripe pear and hints of vanilla and walnut. Medium citrus length. (90)

公整可口的,酒香比酒味表現好,強度及複 雜性皆是,中度平衡,餘韻比想像中短,佐餐很好的白酒,也不用太須陳年了,大啖喝吧.......

A deep ruby colour dry red wine with intense aromas of meat and blood, black plum, damp earth, strawberry jam, dried rose, licorice and touch of mint. It has medium acid, medium alcohol and body, with medium level of fine grained tannin. The black plum finish is quite long with intense flavours on palate, the flavours contain black plum, black cherry, dried rose, licorice, damped wood and touch of sandalwood (94)

翻查紀錄,原來約半年前試過這酒,發現我也是比相同評分,證明我的品評水評幾一致呢(刷下自己鞋先)。雖然同分,今次酒的印象比較重口了一點,這枝的表現較重味,果味轉了點黑果,也發展了點較重身的黑皮諾特色。其他品質參數變化不大,依然好酒一枝,再陳多十年多會是一枝今人回味的酒。

A deep ruby colour dry red wine with medium noses of damp earth, black plum, black cherry, rose jam, toast, smoke, black coffee, good complexity. It has medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with quite high fine grained tannin. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of black plum jam, black cherry, licorice, cedar and rose jam. Fairly long length with black cherry finish.

會令人有點驚嘆的複雜香氣,雖然不算太強,隱隱約約的滲透出來,幾誘人。酒體豐厚,酒力在口中強度比酒香強,但複雜性又不及酒香,餘韻算長,好飲,放多十年還可以的,慢慢陳年才品嚐吧。

2007 Vosne Romanee les Brulees, Domaine Leroy

Deep ruby with quite intense noses of rose jam, red berry, strawberry candy, cabbage, vanilla, toasted herb with touch of anise, this dry wine has slightly over medium flavour intensity on palate, with medium acidity, alcohl and bodied. Fine grained but touch of greenness tannin at medium level. The flavours contain red fruit and rose pedal, cabbage and touch of tea leaf and cinnamon. Close to long length with rose pedal finish. (93)

 這酒的香料味及果味平衡得很好。酒力算強,餘韻亦長,品質很高的。口感有點點青,在這年份來說有點點怪,但07年這年份的酒真的較能理解。酒好飲的,只是口感覺得有點怪。

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with pronounced noses of strawberry jam, rose, damp earth, plum and touch of meat, licorice and mint tea. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is at medium level and fine grained in nature, with slightly over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, rose, cabbage, earth and touch of damp wood. Long length with red plum finish.  這酒的複雜性很好,特別在香氣方面。酒體公整,結構有點硬,可能是單寧吧。酒味在口中弱了點,但餘韻又令人回味。99年的紅布有點難捉摸,但偏向硬淨。

Deep ruby with pronounced level aromas of strawberry, rose perfume, red cherry jam, licorice, anise and vanilla, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with smooth medium tannin. On palate it has quite high intensity flavours of rose pedal, wild red cherry, licorice and tea. Long length with red berry finish. (94) It has all components of a good wine, but needs time. Good length too.

很早飲的一枝酒,但仍可在那長長的餘韻和初發展的香氣和酒味中找到這酒的潛質。酒力亦強勁,酒味亦然。一枝好酒應有的特質全部都存在,只待時間發展,令人期待。

用整潔來形容這酒雖然有點怪,但頗合適。因為酒的複雜度比想像中簡單,但清澈直接,味道分明。酒的質素中上,好飲的餐酒。

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with fairly high intensity aromas of red plum, red berry, licorice, clove and rose perfume. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with medium fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium with flavours of red berry, strawberry candy, rose jam, mint and cherry tea. Fairly long length with red berry finish. (92)

酒有濃濃的香氣和複雜性,單寧有點點青,酒味在口中強度低了點但餘韻頗長,好飲的,在這年份有此表現值得一讚。

Deep ruby with quite high intensity noses of bubblegum, red plum, red berry, sweet spice, rose candy, mint and red tea.  It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Medium fine grained tannin but touch of greenness. On palate it has medium intensity flavours of red berry, wild strawberry, clove, cedar wood and smoke. Slightly longer than medium length with wild strawberry finish. (91)

以這年份說是可以感受到釀造者的想法,就是盡力做一枝濃濃的酒。酒的醬果感仍在,酒香頗濃,亦有一定複雜性。酒質在入口後令人明白到酒的底蘊,複雜性下降了,餘韻尚算長,可口的酒。

This dry red wine has deep ruby coloured. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of red plum jam, red berry jam, rose jam, cabbage, incense and touch of licorice. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with quite high ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate it gives quite high intensity flavours of rose, red plum, ripe red cherry, red berry, vanilla and hints of tea and licorice. Long length with red cherry finish. (96)

非常濃郁的酒。啊婆那種醬果感很明顯。酒香和酒味都很強,又複雜,餘韻長,堂堂正正的說給品飲者知這是一枝好酒。以田土特色計,在花果味分佈來說,這酒偏向果香一面多點。再加上這釀造者的功力,令到枝酒的果感很豐富,少了點這田土的優雅。但飲起來十分討好,會令人飲得很開心滿足的。

Medium alcohol and bodied with quite high fine grained tannin. On palate it has over medium flavours of red plum, rose, wild cherry, licorice and earth. Long length with red plum finish. (94)

保持著這酒莊特色,果香濃而又不會蓋過其複雜性,酒力一直由聞到飲直至吞下也一樣,很濃郁的一枝酒。單寧還要點時間醇化,唯一有點怪怪的是那種酸度有少少的一點削,但不礙品嚐,好酒一枝,令人回味的。
