2012 Cerbaiona Brunello di Montalcino

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour On nose it gives quite intense aromas of black cherry, prune, dried date, licorice and touch of anise, quite jammy and dark fruit. Full bodied with medium alcohol and acidity. Medium soft and ripe tannin with quite intense flavour intensity. The flavours contain black cherry, black tea, licorice, vanilla seed and earth. Medium length with cherry finish. (91) Good concentration but need better length.

濃厚強烈的,醬果味出眾,現在還是一個很年輕的表現,香料味足,有一定發展潛力,只是酒的餘韻比較短了點,現在喝仍早了點,多放幾年可能會好些

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with quite intense noses of red cherry, licorice, red tea, forest floor, red plum and touch of earthiness. It has medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied with medium soft tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity of red cherry, plum, forest floor, licorice and tea. Longer than medium length with plummy finish. (93) Good typicity.

教科書一樣的品種特色,清晰得來帶着一層層的複雜性,酒力強勁,餘韻亦算長,很好喝的一款酒,這酒的好處似乎是不管早喝或陳年都給到品飲者穩定的水準,好喝,亦很高水準,因為這酒較易被不同級數的品飲者理解

2006 Gaja Brunello di Montalcino Sugarille, Pieve Santa Restituta

Deep ruby colour with pronounced noses of red plum, cherry, smoke, licoric, and touch of earth and tea. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and full bodied with medium ripe and soft tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black cherry, black tea, smoke, vanilla and touch of graphite. Fairly long length with cherry tea finish. (93) Powerful and strong, yet showing good complexity

可以用強悍來形容。酒的力度很強勁,亦有一定複雜性,口感柔順,但仍感覺到這酒的濃厚。酒在口中的複雜性下降了一點,但仍然有不錯的力度,餘韻亦很長,是一支好酒。

2005 Brunello di Montalcion, Poggio di Sotto

This dry red brunello has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of sour cherry, red plum, red flower, licorice and touch fo tea and sandalwood, complex and elegant. Medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied too. The tannin is at medium level and fine grained nature. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, tea, earth and touch of stone type minerality, notes of toasted wood too. Longer than medium length with berry tea finish. (94) Good complexity and typicity. Wonderful

這支酒很好喝,而且田土風格保存得很好。我相信很多人在盲飲的情況下也喝得出這是一支  brunello。酒力強、亦有足夠的複雜性,同時亦維持着葡萄品種的特色,餘韻亦長,是一支令人留下深刻印象的一支酒

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of black plum, berries, smoke, licorice and vanilla. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite high soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black plum, black berry, black tea and damp wood. Medium length with black berry finish. (92) Nicely made and ripe. Good tannin too.

邊個人話丹寧強就一定係鞋口。呢支酒的丹寧令人驚喜,就是強得來很順滑成熟。酒精力度中上,複雜性也是中上的程度,但沒有令人驚嘆的感覺,餘韻是合格的,但以這酒在口的表現應該可以長一點吧!

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite pronounced aromas of dried raspberries, cherry, anise, mint, licorice, very spicy. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with medium fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of red cherry, mint, licorice, smoke and touch of strawberry tea. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (93) Fresh fruit with good complexity.

香料味很誘人的,酒的強度足,甚至乎有點重,不過複雜性好,令人口感滿滿,單寧還需時間,餘韻算長,品種特色及複雜性兼備,再發展一下會更好。

2003 Il Paradiso Brunello di Montalcino

Deep ruby with quite intense noses of dried plum, dried raspberries, raisin, dates, smoke and toasty oak, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is ripe and soft at medium level. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of ripe cherry juice, dates, toasted licorice and smoke. Long than medium length with cherry juice finish. (92) typical and ripe, feel the warm and heat of the fruit ripeness.

接近夏天的感覺,很熟很濃的果感,似乎你00咁年全個歐洲所都好熱咁。果味濃郁、單寧成熟,餘韻算長,好喝的。複雜性尚算不錯,但被果味掩蓋不少,但仍感受到品種的特色,希望發展一下,應該更好。

This dry red wine has quite intense ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of red cherry, leather, licorice, tea, damp wood and touch of mint. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with quite high in tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of red cherry, strawberry, tea, licorice, dried herb. Fairly long length with red cherry finish. (92)

套用食神內的薜家燕一句:BDM啊,好BDM啊! 濃濃的酒香和酒味完全展示BDM的特色,酒的濃度及餘韻亦表現出其高質素,好喝。仍有一段陳年能力,但現在已經很不錯。

成熟的果感給人飽滿的品飲感受,果味濃而有一定複雜性,亦充 份展現品種特色。酒體豐厚,甚至有點點重,餘韻亦算長,很可口的。這酒仍在發展,過多幾年再會更好。好味。

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with fairly high intensity noses of red cherry, tea leaves, earth, stewed cherry and touch of eucalyptus. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium soft tannin. On palate it gives medium intensity flavours of red cherry, tea leaves, earth and touch of licorice. Medium length with red cherry finish. (90)

如果不是香氣較強,這酒跟一枝普通的 CHIANTI  差不了多少。除酒香外,所有的表現都是一般,中中等等的,亦有著品種特性,簡簡單單的,可口的酒品。

1996 Salvioni Cerbaiola Brunello di Montalcino

Having deep ruby colour and quite high intensity aromas of black cherry, red plum, earth, black tea and touch of mint leave and licorice, this dry red wine has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Medium tannin but a bit green. The flavours has red cherry, tea leaves, licorice and earth, all at over medium intensity with longer than medium length and red cherry finish. (92) Just because of length, bit simple palate.

 不錯的香氣,算強亦複雜,酒的品種特性不錯,口感亦然,只是單寧有點青。酒味在口中簡單了點,可喜的是餘韻算長,加番D分,幾好飲的一枝BDM。

1969 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Biondi Santi

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it gives higher than medium intensity aromas of prune, caramel, raisin, black tea and damp wood. Fairly high acidity, medium bodied with barely medium alcohol. Medium fine grained tannin too. On palate it has slightly higher than medium flavours of stewed red cherry, caramel, British tea, damp wood. Fairly long length with sour cherry finish. (90)

有相逄恨晚的感覺,這酒如果早幾年飲應該很不錯。酒已走下坡了,有著氧化的味道,酒的酸度亦已有點醋化,酒味複雜性失去不少,酒精感亦下降。但我仍比一個不俗的評價。原因有三: 一)酒主說這酒有點輕微滲漏,所以相信在正常狀態下會比這支好; 二)酒的餘韻及強度顯示了這酒的質素; 三)四十多年的酒在輕微滲漏下的老化情度也只是如此,足証這酒有很強的生命力。酒仍有品種特性,香氣仍吸引,只是酒在口中表現平淡鬆散了。正常的狀態應該會好飲的。

Deep ruby colour with fairly high intensity aromas of red cherry, breakfast tea, licorice, strawberry jam and touch of mint and earth. It is dry with medium sour acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with fair high fine grained tannin. On palate it gives slightly over medium flavours of wild red cherry, tea leaves, licorice and damp wood. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (92) Typical and rich.

這個地方的酒很少令失望的,這支亦是枝高於水平之作。像是教科書一樣的有著品種標誌性的酒香及酒味。酒力及複雜性也不錯,餘韻亦長,好飲。單寧仍重一 點,陳年多些應該會好一些。

A deep ruby dry red wine with fairly high noses of ripe red cherry, red plum, licorice, tea and touch of dried herb and earth, it has medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied and medium ripe and fine-grained tannin. Slightly higher than medium intensity flavours of red cherry, licorice, black plum, British tea and charcoal. Slightly longer than medium length with red berry tea finish. (91)

頗出色的酒。酒香強,複雜性有一種純正感,像教科書一樣的香氣。酒體豐豐滿滿的,單寧成熟而酒味仍貫徹著其品種特性。一枝標準高質的 BRUNELLO,值得讚的是餘韻,好有特色的紅莓茶,正。

With deep ruby colour and medium bodied, this dry wine has fairly high intensity aromas of red cherry, tea, raspberry, vanilla and smoke. Medium alcohol and acidity with quite high fine-grained tannin. Flavour intensity is over medium level. Sour cherry, tea, toast and spice flavours with fairly long length and red cherry finish. (93) Good typicity but rather single dimension.

總的來說是一枝不錯的酒,早飲了點。酒的質素不錯,餘韻算長,香氣及酒味也足,現在已有點點(真係得點點)複雜性,所以在口中沒甚驚喜的。

A deep ruby dry red wine. It has over medium intensity aromas of red cherry, spice, red plum, vanilla, tea and touch of smoke. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Fuller than medium bodied with medium fine-grained tannin. On palate, it has over medium flavour of red cherry, vanilla, smoke and tea. Long length with plummy finish. (94)

好飲的一枝酒,雖則仍有點新,酒可能是比較早熟一點,因為2006年酒已有了一點發展出來的味道,酒力強,餘韻長,亦有一定複雜性,只是酒味在口中的變化少了點,但現飲已提供了一份很好的享受。

2005 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

An almost deep intensity ruby colour with over medium nose of redcurrant, banana, red plum, candied berry and touch of vanilla, very young. It is dry with medium acidity. Medium alcohol and bodied. Tannin is a bit strong (over medium level) but fine-grained in nature. Quite high flavour intensity, ripe redcurrant, vanilla, tea and plum. Almost long length with red plum finish. (93)

殺嬰事件,太早飲的一枝酒,果味主導了一切,果味濃夾新,餘韻長而酒力足,好有潛質,正。

2004 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

It is a dry red wine with almost deep intensity ruby colour. On nose it gives almost pronounced aromas of red cherry, smoke, earth, vanilla, tea and licorice. Medium acidity, alcohol, and bodied with fairly high but ripe tannin. On palate it has quite high intensity flavours of red cherry, tea, licorice and dried herb. Long length with red cherry finish. (94) Good length and complexity. Ripe tannin but still needs time for further development.

再一次印證2004年是好年,酒仍在早期狀態但感到其成熟單寧,亦可預示到其酒感柔和,複雜性強而酒力足,餘韻長,有貨的唔好咁快飲,否則有點浪費。

2002 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

Quite high intensity ruby colour dry red wine with medium alcohol, acidity, bodied and fine-grained tannin. Both flavours and aromas are very consistent. Red plum, red cherry, vanilla, sweet spice, candied banana. The length is barely over medium with red cherry and tea finish. (92)

這酒令我想起同款酒的2000年,因為其表現很相似,有著相類似的香氣及酒味,複雜性比2000年多一點點但餘韻卻短一點點。雖則如此,這仍是一枝可口的酒品,亦表現到品種特色。

2000 Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

Rather deep ruby colour with over medium intensity aromas of red cherry, plum, herbaceous and touch of tea and vanilla. It is dry with medium acidity, bodied and alcohol. Tannin is at medium level and fine-grained in nature. The flavour intensity is over medium with consistent flavours. Sour cherry, tea leave, vanilla and touch of herbaceous. Over medium length with sour cherry finish. (92) Good typicity but it needs more complexity to be a very good one.
