2012 Cerbaiona Brunello di Montalcino

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour On nose it gives quite intense aromas of black cherry, prune, dried date, licorice and touch of anise, quite jammy and dark fruit. Full bodied with medium alcohol and acidity. Medium soft and ripe tannin with quite intense flavour intensity. The flavours contain black cherry, black tea, licorice, vanilla seed and earth. Medium length with cherry finish. (91) Good concentration but need better length.

濃厚強烈的,醬果味出眾,現在還是一個很年輕的表現,香料味足,有一定發展潛力,只是酒的餘韻比較短了點,現在喝仍早了點,多放幾年可能會好些

2019 Rosso di Montalcino Riserva, Biondi Santi

This dry red wine has quite intense ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of red cherry, strawberry, candied red plum, mint leaf, vanilla, very good red fruit character. It is dry with medium mouthwatering acidity, medium bodied and alcohol, soft medium tannin too. The palate intensity is at medium level with flavours of sour red cherry, green plum, tea and licoirce. Medium length with red cherry finish. (89) Good typicity, straightforward and good fruit.

葡萄品種特色充份顯示出來,紅果特色出眾。酒香亦有一些複雜性,頗誘人的。酒體圓潤輕柔,單寧成熟幼滑,口感不錯。只是酒味在口中簡單直接了一些,強度及複雜性亦下降了。這個表現一直到餘韻之中,整體來說,幾好喝,是一支很好的餐酒。

2018 Brunello di Montalcino, Poggio di Sotto

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with quite intense noses of red cherry, licorice, red tea, forest floor, red plum and touch of earthiness. It has medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied with medium soft tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity of red cherry, plum, forest floor, licorice and tea. Longer than medium length with plummy finish. (93) Good typicity.

教科書一樣的品種特色,清晰得來帶着一層層的複雜性,酒力強勁,餘韻亦算長,很好喝的一款酒,這酒的好處似乎是不管早喝或陳年都給到品飲者穩定的水準,好喝,亦很高水準,因為這酒較易被不同級數的品飲者理解

2006 Gaja Brunello di Montalcino Sugarille, Pieve Santa Restituta

Deep ruby colour with pronounced noses of red plum, cherry, smoke, licoric, and touch of earth and tea. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and full bodied with medium ripe and soft tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black cherry, black tea, smoke, vanilla and touch of graphite. Fairly long length with cherry tea finish. (93) Powerful and strong, yet showing good complexity

可以用強悍來形容。酒的力度很強勁,亦有一定複雜性,口感柔順,但仍感覺到這酒的濃厚。酒在口中的複雜性下降了一點,但仍然有不錯的力度,餘韻亦很長,是一支好酒。

2005 Brunello di Montalcion, Poggio di Sotto

This dry red brunello has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of sour cherry, red plum, red flower, licorice and touch fo tea and sandalwood, complex and elegant. Medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied too. The tannin is at medium level and fine grained nature. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, tea, earth and touch of stone type minerality, notes of toasted wood too. Longer than medium length with berry tea finish. (94) Good complexity and typicity. Wonderful

這支酒很好喝,而且田土風格保存得很好。我相信很多人在盲飲的情況下也喝得出這是一支  brunello。酒力強、亦有足夠的複雜性,同時亦維持着葡萄品種的特色,餘韻亦長,是一支令人留下深刻印象的一支酒

2005 Soldera Pegasos Sangiovese Toscana IGT

Quite deep intensity ruby colour. On nose it has quite intense aromas of red cherry, red tea, smoke, strawberry leaves, raspberry, and trace of licorice. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied with quite high fine grained tannin, a touch of greenness is detected. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, wild strawberry, licorice and red tea. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (92)

是年份問題嗎?丹寧有點點青的。酒的強度很不錯,香氣比酒味好一點,特別在複雜性上來說。餘韻合格有餘,酒的果味保存得很好,很符合田土風格,整體來說好喝,但我不敢說他有著很頂級的表現

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of black plum, berries, smoke, licorice and vanilla. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite high soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black plum, black berry, black tea and damp wood. Medium length with black berry finish. (92) Nicely made and ripe. Good tannin too.

邊個人話丹寧強就一定係鞋口。呢支酒的丹寧令人驚喜,就是強得來很順滑成熟。酒精力度中上,複雜性也是中上的程度,但沒有令人驚嘆的感覺,餘韻是合格的,但以這酒在口的表現應該可以長一點吧!

2008 Amarone Della Valpolicella, Dal Forno Romano

A dark ruby coloured dry red wine with pronounced noses of black plum, anise, raisin, mint, dried herb, smoke and warm brick. Medium acidity and full bodied. A bit high in alcohol with medium soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black plum, black cherry, raisin, dried herbs, smoke and black tea, quite consistent. Fairly long length wtih black plum finish. (93) Rich and good nose, still evolving.

濃濃的香氣引人入勝,酒香強而複雜,亦展現出其風格。酒的單寧算是成熟柔順,餘韻亦長,充份表現出其質素。酒味在口中有點點轉化,現在仍在發展中,相信酒味的複雜性會進一步提升。有點期待。

1969 Barolo, Enrico Serafino

This dry barolo has deep ruby colour but paler rim. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of black plum, caramel, dates, black cherry and hazelnut. Medium acidity and alcohol, medium bodied with fine grained tannin. On palate it gives medium flavours of black plum, cherry, vegetal, road tar type earthiness and trace of rancio notes. Longer than medium length with dried plum finish (85) Signs of tiredness and oxidized but keep good fruit and character

大吉利是,支酒未死,不過唔會有好耐。酒難得仍有一些果感,品種表現出色,不論香氣或酒味也是一枝過了適飲期的酒,餘韻仍是唔錯,老酒感十足,但我覺得老過頭。

2004 Il Paradiso Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite pronounced aromas of dried raspberries, cherry, anise, mint, licorice, very spicy. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with medium fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of red cherry, mint, licorice, smoke and touch of strawberry tea. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (93) Fresh fruit with good complexity.

香料味很誘人的,酒的強度足,甚至乎有點重,不過複雜性好,令人口感滿滿,單寧還需時間,餘韻算長,品種特色及複雜性兼備,再發展一下會更好。

2003 Il Paradiso Brunello di Montalcino

Deep ruby with quite intense noses of dried plum, dried raspberries, raisin, dates, smoke and toasty oak, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is ripe and soft at medium level. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of ripe cherry juice, dates, toasted licorice and smoke. Long than medium length with cherry juice finish. (92) typical and ripe, feel the warm and heat of the fruit ripeness.

接近夏天的感覺,很熟很濃的果感,似乎你00咁年全個歐洲所都好熱咁。果味濃郁、單寧成熟,餘韻算長,好喝的。複雜性尚算不錯,但被果味掩蓋不少,但仍感受到品種的特色,希望發展一下,應該更好。

2000 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Asili Riserva

Deep ruby colour with intense aromas of rose jam, road tar, cherry, vanilla, mint, licorice and pine. This dry wine has medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied and high but fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is quite intense as well, with flavours of rose, red cherry, plum, vanilla and sweet spice. Fairly long length with red cherry finish. (95)

這酒莊的濃厚感不用置疑,酒力強勁,桶香出色,酒味在口中複雜細緻,但酒香的複雜性比酒味更強,好酒一枝。以陳年能力計仍有大把貨在手,相信要多一些時間等待單寧溶化。

2002 Giacomo Conterno Monfortino, Barolo Riserva

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced aromas of rose, black cherry, licorice, vanilla, mint and touch of earthiness. Medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with quite high tannin. The flavours contain black cherry, rose, licorice, earth, touch of tobacco. Long length with cherry finish. (96) Bit young but signs of its potential shown.

估唔到咁快有機會試。強勁、有力、濃厚集於一身。複雜性還待展現,畢竟仍很年輕,但亦開始有一點點的複雜氣味滲出來,長長餘韻亦顯示酒質,單寧一如所料的硬朗,仍需時間馴化,對這酒有一定期待。

1970 Gaja Barbaresco Infernot

Quite deep intensity ruby colour with some garnet rim. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of berry tea, road tar, cinnamon, red plum juice. Dry with rather low acidity, medium bodied and soft medium tannin. On palate it gives medium intensity red plum, road tar, cinnamon licorice tea flavours. Slightly longer than medium length with red plum finish. (92) Good performance, given its age

老酒的表現出晒嚟。雖不致於老態龍鐘,亦一定走向下坡。酒的酸度有點不足,但酒味仍有些果感,餘韻亦算合格有餘。發展成熟,香料味綻放,慢慢㗳的酒。

2004 Sassicaia

Deep purple coloured dry red wine with over medium intensity aromas of  black plum, violet, blueberry, licorice, cinnamon, and pine, good spicy notes. Medium acidity with some malic acid note, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is ripe and fine at medium level. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of black cherry, tea, licorice, violet and touch of cedar. Fairly long length with black cherry tea finish. (92) Good nose but a bit detached on palate.

香氣強而複雜、特別是那誘人的香料味,酒有著點點的蘋果酸感,但不太影響口感,反而多了點鮮活,單寧強,但亦成熟,餘韻算長,只是酒味有點分離感覺,好像不太融和的,所以味道分明,但不至於水溝油咁,也是一枝好酒來的。

1994 Masseto

Deep ruby with intense noses of black plum, prune, fig, chocolate, earth, and vanilla, this dry wine has medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite high tannin, fine grained in nature. On palate it have over medium intensity flavours of black plum, vanilla, violet, licorice. Fairly long length with black plum finish. (92) Rich and concentrated.

跟1989年的那枝一同喝,這枝酒的濃度高了不少。複雜性也是。二十六年仍有這種濃烈感才是我認識的這酒莊的酒。香氣強勁複雜、比酒味表現好。酒身仍重,各方面都指出它仍可陳年一段時間,餘韻亦算長。好喝。

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it gives intense aromas of black plum, vegetal, bell pepper, licorice, earth and touch of mint. Acidity, alcohol and bodied are all at medium, so does its fine grained tannin. On palate it have over medium intensity flavours of black plum, vegetal, bell pepper and licorice. Medium length with black plum finish. (90)

雖然已經是一枝三十年有多的酒,但比想像中退得快的。香氣仍然強勁,但其他方面已經像是一枝普通的高級紅酒。酒的香氣及酒味展現出陳年感,果味及其他味道亦平衡有緻,但酒在口中的表現不及香氣,餘韻亦比想像退得快,可口好飲但表現應該更好的。

1999 Luciano Sandrone Aleste-Cannubi Boschis, Barolo

This wine has deep ruby colour and pronounced nose of black plum, smoke, mint, rose, earth and blueberry. It is dry with medium acidity, quite full bodied. Medium alcohol and soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives slightly over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, mint, rose, damped earth. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (93) Delicious

可口的巴洛洛。酒力強勁,有標誌性的香味而且十分清晰,單寧柔順成熟。酒味在口中強度不及酒香,但也算強,餘韻亦長,好喝。

頗複雜的一枝酒,酒香的感覺比酒味濃,但在口中轉淡後又出現另一種味道感覺,很值得讚。單寧成熟而柔軟,餘韻亦長,靚酒的表現。酒味濃厚得來而又保存著品種的特色,是一件很出色的作品。

咁講希望沒有冒犯任何酒莊,這酒莊像是很懂得捕捉市場上大眾口味的。適度的木桶影響加濃厚果感,是 一款容易討好大眾的酒品。酒的質素高,餘韻長,酒力強,亦有品種標誌性的風格,好飲。
