2008 Amarone Della Valpolicella, Dal Forno Romano

A dark ruby coloured dry red wine with pronounced noses of black plum, anise, raisin, mint, dried herb, smoke and warm brick. Medium acidity and full bodied. A bit high in alcohol with medium soft and ripe tannin. On palate it gives quite intense flavours of black plum, black cherry, raisin, dried herbs, smoke and black tea, quite consistent. Fairly long length wtih black plum finish. (93) Rich and good nose, still evolving.

濃濃的香氣引人入勝,酒香強而複雜,亦展現出其風格。酒的單寧算是成熟柔順,餘韻亦長,充份表現出其質素。酒味在口中有點點轉化,現在仍在發展中,相信酒味的複雜性會進一步提升。有點期待。

1998 Valpolicella Sueriore, Dal Forno Romano

This is a deep ruby dry red wine. On nose it has fairly high intensity aromas of raisin, black plum, licorice, dried herb and touch of menthol. Slightly over medium alcohol and fuller than medium bodied with medium acidity, it also has medium fine-grained tannin. The flavour intensity is at medium level, which contains flavours of black plum raisin, dried herb and black tea. Longer than medium length with black plum finish. (90)

這酒可以比得上一枝普通的AMARONE,有著不錯的香氣及酒味,餘韻又算長,複雜性雖然欠了點但仍有一定的程度,不錯。
