1995 Ch. Palmer

A deep purple wine with strong aromas of blackcurrant, violet, red plum, licorice, smoke and cedar. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Medium plus bodied. Tannin is soft and fine grained at medium plus level. Quite high intensity of black plum, black cherry, violet, licorice and cedar. Long length with black cherry finish. (93) (Tasted on 19 Nov. 2011)

Tasted the same wine on 4 Nov 2011, this one was drunk beautifully after bottled air for 2 hours or so. However, the one on 4 Nov 2011 seems to have layers of complexity which this one does not have. Is it a matter of US slip label?
