Quite deep purple in colour with higher than medium intensity aromas of
blackcurrant, bell pepper, herbaceous, smoke, earth with touch of mint
leaf, pencil shaving and hint of reduction. It is dry with medium
acidity, alcohol, and body. The tannin still has medium level and
smooth. On palate it gives medium black cherry, bell pepper and licorice
flavours with slightly over medium length and licorice finish. (89)
Good complexity on nose but rather simple on palate.
