2003 Les Tourelles de Longueville

This second wine proves that 2003 is a good year for Pauillac area. Strong nose of black fruit with cedar, wood and a tight structure of tannins is found in this second wine. On palate it gives a heavy structure with woody and earthy note, a layer of fruit and oak taste follows well. It stimulates my curiosity of the Grand Vin of this chateau. This one is far better than the Grand Vin of this chateau of 1994 vintage which I have tasted in June 2008 (89) (Tasted on 22 August 2008, reposted)
