This deep purple dry wine shows how ripeness of 2003 vintage. It give
blackcurrant and black plum on nose with a trace of cedar wood. It has
medium to high acidity and full body. The wine is a bit viscous with a
mouthful of black fruit on palate. The tannin is strong and it dries my
gum up to my ears. The wine though a bit of single tone and lack of
complexity, is much enjoyable than I think of cru bourgeois. (89)
