2005 Alter Ego de Palmer

A dark ruby dry wine with ripe and sweet black fruit nose and hints of spice, smoke and licorice. It has low acidity and medium body. The tannin is medium to high but soft. On palate, the black fruit flavours follows with a bit leather, earth and mint taste. The finish is comparatively long for a second wine. It makes me wonder what the taste will be of its grand vin. A nice one. (92)
