1988 Ch. Palmer

This medium ruby dry wine has a nose of leather, earth with trace of black fruit and spice. It has medium acidity and body. The tannin is soft and the after taste does not last long. On palate, red fruit flavour is evolved but tired, with trace of smoke and earth. I really doubt that this one is over its peak, though it can still be drunk comfortably. (88)
