1999 Ch. Mouton Rothschild

1999 Mouton is a soft dry wine. The nose remains strong with black fruits, oaky, cedar wood, truffle with hint of dark chocolate. It gives medium acidity and body. The texture is unbelievable soft and the tannin is good enough to support the structure without being harsh. The finish lingers for almost half minute. Maybe it is not a good vintage, the wine is not powerful but the complexity is still there. (91) (Tasted on 12 October 2008, reposted)
