1989 Ch. Pichon Baron

This dry wine is opaque ruby colour with fading garnet rim. A pronounced nose of blackcurrant, pine, plum, vanilla, and clove. On palate it has medium plus body and tannin, and medium acidity. The palate gives ripe black plum, spicy, smoke with a medium plus finish. Still young and enjoyable (93)
