2006 Chambolle Musigny Vieilles Vignes, Maison Nicolas Potel

Quite deep in ruby colour. Medium nose of red plum, cherry, floral, spice, vanilla and mushroom with a touch of smoke and earthy. Slightly high in acidity, medium alcohol and bodied. Medium tannin which is silky and fine grained. Quite pronounced intensity flavours of ripe plum, tea, cabbage, vanilla with trace of toast. Fairly long length with spicy and cherry finish. (90)
