2003 Ca'Marcanda, Gaja

This is a deep ruby red wine with slight legs. It has quite intense aromas of black cherry, spice, licorice, smoke and plum. It is dry with medium acidity, body and alcohol. The tannin is at medium level and ripe and fine-grained in nature. Flavours contain red cherry, spice, tobacco at medium level. Medium length with plummy finish. (90) It is an easy and round wine and good for dinner.
