1999 Corton, Hospices de Beaune

This is a deep ruby coloured dry red wine with barely over medium nose of rose, red plum, cabbage, British tea, earth and touch of smoke. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is soft and fine-grained at medium level. Quite high intensity flavours of red cherry, plum, vegetal, cabbage, rose and licorice. Fairly long length with licorice finish. (91) Tasted this one 3 times and this time is the most impressive. Good complexity, quite elegant.

Tasted on 6 June 2012

試過3次,一次比一次好。有一定複雜性,雖然比起一些其他GRAND CRU可能仍有不足。但都算交到貨。
