2001 Chevailer Montrachet, Vincent Girardin

Medium lemon in colour. This dry white wine has quite pronounced aromas of citrus, white flower, mineral, vanilla, roast almond, amber, touch of cream and steel With time more honey notes are detected. This wine still has a bit higher than normal acidity. Fuller than medium bodied and medium alcohol. The flavour intensity is almost at pronounced level. Lime, floral, steel, mineral flavours go layer by layer and some hazelnut flavours evolves with time. Fairly long length with citrus finish. (93) Very good wine with good nose and flavour intensity. Complex with layered structure but still offers a crisp style, though the finish carries a little bit bitterness.

好喝的一枝白酒,飲時仍有一定變化。有清爽的風格但在口中酒味又頗豐富,但餘韻比想像中略短,雖然已經不錯,亦帶少少甘,是一枝好酒。
