1998 Hommage a Jacques Perrin, Chateauneuf du Pape, Ch. de Beaucastel

The appearance of this wine is deep ruby in colour with some legs. It has quite pronounced intensity aromas of red cherry, licorices, smoke, vanilla, leather, sweet spice which seems to have a lot to tell. Dry, with medium acidity and alcohol. Quite high level of soft and fine-grained tannin. Quite full bodied. The flavour intensity is quite high with layers of red plum, cranberry, smoke, leather, licorice, dried herb and touch of earth. Long length with red plum and sweet spice finish. (96) Well integrated but deep and bold. Complex and intense with impressive length but consistent palate. Wonderful.

一枝融合得很好的酒，在聞酒香時會感到酒的深度，酒香複雜性是隱隱約約慢慢放出來，整體混合一致平衡，餘韻誘人，令人想一飲再飲。在我來說酒味在口中沒有再進一步的演化，否則我的評分會再調高。此酒現在仍可再陳放，酒味仍有發展空間。
