Taste this merely because I want to compare the vintage between 2005 and
2006. And the result is too obvious: 2005 wins but 2006 is not too bad
indeed. This deep ruby/purple dry wine has low to medium acidity and
medium body and tannin. The aromas give strong blackcurrant and black
cherry flavour with hints of spice and vanilla. The tannins though round
is still a bit harsh. The Merlot part seems to be more ripe than the
Cab. Sauvignon. The finish is weak but it is still a nice wine with
food. (84)
