1998 Ch. Kirwan

This is a typical Margaux wine. The deep ruby colour liquid gives light wood and oak aroma with standard blackcurrant and red plum nose. There is some green bell pepper smell which may reflect the lesser ripen grapes. The taste of Merlot is a bit over its Cabinet Sauvignon counterpart. It is viscous, concentrated but medium body. The tannin is supple and soft with a little bit of sensational sweetness and medium acidity. (88) (Tasted on 22 August 2008, reposted)
