North Brittish 50 year Single Cask Whisky

A medium gold coloured whisky with medium nose of peak, smoke, lemon, hay, tropical fruit, rubber with rancio note, showing a very aged maturation. With water it enhances the smokiness and peatiness. It is dry with warming alcohol, touch of tannin is detected. Quite full bodied and quite pronounced flavours intensity. Peat, citrus, floral, malt, spice with touch of roasted nut. Fairly long length with peaty finish. (91) Good character and peatiness, with alcohol bite. Reasonable complexity.
