2011 Beaujolais Nouveau, Joseph Drouhin

Quite deep purple colour with significant legs. Higher than medium aromas intensity with candied cherry, bubblegum, banana, christmas cake and red fruit. It is dry with medium acidity, little spritz with medium alcohol and soft tannin. Medium bodied. On palate the flavour is not so intense with simple strawberry, green cherry, and touch of herbaceous notes. Shorter than medium length with candied strawberry finish. (87) Simple but fresh, quite concentrated.
