2009 Barbera d'Alba, Conterno

A deep ruby wine with slightly over medium aromas intensity. Earth, red plum, red cherry, and smoke but it shows some depth. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. The tannin is at medium level but soft. Fuller than medium bodied. It also has slightly higher than medium flavour intensity. The flavours contain red cherry, floral, red plum with a touch of herbaceousness. Fairly long length with red plum finish. (89) Ripe and big but still not too complex.

酒香由一開始的果實及泥土氣息令人感覺到這酒有一定深度，但真的是只有感覺。之後有一點點轉化但不太明顯。酒體及酒味在BARBERA來說是頗豐盈的了，餘韻亦算長但複雜性略遜。卻也是一枝不錯的BARBERA。
