2006 CDR Parallele 45, Paul Jaboulet Aine

Writing this while drinking. This medium ruby wine yields a nose of black fruit, berries with trace of spice and vanilla. It is not concentrated and the alcohol is a bit harsh, which may be due to the high alcohol Grenache. The tannin is also rough with medium body and acidity. The finish is weak and a bit bitter. On palate the flavour is almost the same as those of nose. What a mediocre wine but not difficult to drink. (84) (Tasted on 19 September 2008, reposted)
