1999 Vosne Romanee les Genevrieres, Domaine Leroy
This wine has fairly high intensity ruby colour with quite high intensity aromas of rose perfume, red plum jam, red cherry, smoke, toast, vanilla, cedar and touch of earthiness. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Fuller than medium bodied and soft ripe medium tannin. The flavour intensity is over medium level with red cherry, rose, cabbage and touch of herbaceous. Close to long length with red plum jam finish. (93)
