1997 Ch. Palmer

A strong nose of complex aroma, this is a nice ruby wine in terms of aroma, complex and with layer of blackcurrant, plum, and a slight floral character. Oak treatment is found which may be due to the oak work in a weak vintage. The wine is also over its peak in May 2008 but still be drunk nicely. (88) (Posted on 22 August 2008, reposted)
