1989 Chateauneuf du Pape, Chateau de Beaucastel

This dry wine has fairly deep intensity ruby colour with garnet rim. On nose it has over medium intensity aromas of red cherry, heady, leather, earth and damp wood. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Fine-grained medium tannin too. The flavour intensity is quite high, which is a bit surprise to me with this nose. Red cherry, strawberry, earth, licorice with touch of alcohol note. Long length with subtle cherry finish. (93) Fine and rather light now, still shows its good quality tho.

相信我會較喜歡這酒早一點的味道。酒有不錯的複雜性及力度，經年月洗禮之下酒亦醇了不少，餘韻是長的但很隱約，好酒，廿多年酒仍能有此表現，好得很。
