1998 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23

This is a deep purple dry wine with quite high nose of blackcurrant, violet, pine, vanilla, cedar, black plum and earth, like a high class Bordeaux. It has medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is quite high but fine grained and ripe. Higher than medium flavour intensity. Black plum, earth, coffee bean, vegetal and touch of cedar. Medium length with black plum finish (91). Good complexity and intensity but the length is a bit disappointing.

由拿起酒杯到飲之前的一刻都覺得這酒很好,入口後仍覺得不錯,但點解枝酒的餘韻一下子蕩然無存??
