2007 Gevery Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers, Domaine Faiveley

This is a dry red wine with deep ruby colour. On nose it gives quite high intensity aromas of cabbage, meat, earth, red plum, rose with touch of spice. Medium acidity and fine-grained soft tannin. Medium alcohol and medium bodied. Medium intensity flavours of red cherry, cabbage, earth and note of minty. Fairly long length with cherry finish. (90)  Quite good and complex nose but a little bit less complex on palate. Overall concentration is good and it shows relatively heavier style of a Burgundian wine. Enjoyable.
