2003 Charmes Chambertin, Domaine Geantet Pansiot

Deep ruby wine with significant legs. It has medium nose of rose, red berry, forest floor, vanilla spice and trace of cabbage. Dry and medium acidity. Medium alcohol and medium plus bodied. The tannin is soft and fine-grained at medium level. On palate, it gives medium level of red cherry, vegetal, cabbage with a slight bitterness (over extraction?). Medium length with cherry finish. Really a  "medium" wine..... (89) (Tasted on 19 Nov. 2011)
