1994 Suntory Yamazaki Single Cask Whisky (bottled in 2010)

Medium amber in colour with intense nose of smoke, dried fruit, apricot, honey and trace of peat, cinnamon and caramel notes. It has well integrated alcohol (54% abv) and medium plus body, oily texture with some fine and smooth tannin. On palate it gives smoky, grainy character with vanilla, cinnamon, almond and incense-like long and complex aftertaste. (93)
