Medium copper coloured with quite high intensity noses of malt, honey, roasted nut, orange peel and touch of peat and cinnamon. Water brings out floral and grainy notes. It is dry with medium acidity, well integrated medium alcohol and quite full bodied. 2011 Donnhoff Niederhauser Hermannshohole Riesling Beerenauslese
A medium lemon green coloured sweet wine with pronounced level aromas of lemon, honey, apricot, petroleum, peach and touch of steel. Very sweet with quite high spiky acidity, full bodied with lower than medium alcohol. On palate it has quite high flavours of lemon, dried apricot, peach, mineral and petroleum. Fairly long length with peach and honey finish. (92) Quite fresh.

This dry red wine still has quite deep ruby colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of black plum, dried herb, black tea, licorice and touch of prune. Medium acidity with a trace of acetic nature, medium bodied and alcohol. Tannin is fine grained at medium level. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of black plum, dried berry, licorice and touch of mine. Slightly over medium length with black plum finish. (91)

This champagne has medium lemon green colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of lemon, honey, green apple, peach, yeast and touch of mineral. It is dry with over medium level acidity, a bit fuller than medium bodied with medium alcohol and creamy mouthfeel. On palate it has quite high intensity flavour of lemon, lime, wet stone, honey bread, together with fairly long honey lemon finish. (92)

Deep ruby colour with close to pronounced level intensity aromas of black plum, dark earth, smoke, toasted herb, rose jam and touch of sandalwood. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. The tannin is at medium level and fine grained in nature, a bit green though. On palate it has slightly over medium intensity flavours of black plum, rose, cabbage, mushroom, and touch of smoke and earth. Fairly long length with black plum finish. (92)
