A pale lemon green coloured dry champagne with pronounced nose of red apple, lemon, peach and touch of Peking pear and chalk. Quite high in acidity, medium alcohol and creamy mousse. The flavours contain apple, lemon, bread and touch of grass. Fairly long length with citrus finish. (92)

直接爽朗的香檳,會令人飲得很開心的。足夠合適的複雜性,酒香及酒味強度都屬中上水平,餘韻亦長。這酒喝起來會令人覺得可以痛快暢飲的。正!

2000 Chambertin, Domaine A. Rousseau

This dry red wine possesses fairly deep ruby colour. It has pronounced level aromas of red plum, cabbage, strawberry, mint leaves, licorice and touch of anise and earth. Dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Medium level tannin with touch of stalky. On palate, it gives fairly high intensity flavours of red cherry, cranberry, vegetal and touch of mushroom, cabbage, licorice and spice. Fairly long length with redcherry finish. (93)

複雜性不錯,強度亦好,餘韻亦長,各方面都在展示了這是一枝好酒。要彈的是單寧有點點青澀,相信是年份和枝梗的問題。酒的層次感可以再好一點就非常正了。

2013 Fleton Road Block 5 Pinot Noir

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it gives close to pronounced level intensity aromas of red plum jam, red berry, smoke, meaty, dried strawberry and licorice. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Soft and ripe medium tannin and longer than medium length. Medium flavour intensity with flavours of red plum jam, candied strawberry, licorice, earth and blood. Plumy jam finish to follow. (90)

濃厚的醬果感,很熟,很濃,強烈果感香氣主導了整枝酒的風味。亦確定了這一年是一個好的年份。單寧成熟柔順,酒味足而餘韻亦算長,只是太重果感而欠了複雜性和層次,但作為一枝佐餐的酒真是很好的選擇。

1988 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Riserva Santo Stefano di Neive

This wine has quite deep ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of earth, dried red plum, toasted herbs, road tar and touch of soy sauce (note below). It is dry with medium acidity, bit souring. Medium alcohol and bodied with medium fine grained tannin. On palate it gives fairly high intensity flavours of red cherry jam, dried plum, earth, stony and dried herbs. Fairly long length with red cherry and mint leaves finish. (94)

Note: The soy sauce aromas is just at barely detectable level which add a touch of oxidized character to the wine without giving any unpleasant aroma.

 酒很不錯,餘韻可以說有點精彩,果味的餘韻夾著一絲絲的薄荷葉,正。酒在口中表現也很不錯,整枝酒的乾果特色出眾。酒香最後至講的原因是這酒的香氣有一點點氧化的豉油味。我相信只是剛剛有一點點,待酒的跟我說酒開了五六個小時,可能是這原因吧。但由於酒味夠強夠複雜,這點味反而令酒多一個層次,雖然我本人不太喜歡,但我相信喜愛像茅台酒的人會喜愛這醬香味。再者,酒味在口中並沒有絲毫氧化跡象。如果有下一枝的話,相信透氣時間短一點已可解決。所以這豉油香並沒有影響我對這酒的評價。酒很好,現在飲應該是會令人留下印象的好酒。

This dry red wine still possesses deep purple colour. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of blackcurrant, plum, bell pepper, wet leaves, earth and pine. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is over medium level with flavours of bell pepper, black cherry, green plum, licorice and touch of earth. Long length with black cherry finish. (93)

五大來說拉圖的水準可能是最穩定,個人亦覺得他比拉菲更能代表這酒區。酒的香氣表現差不多接近完美,酒味的強度不及香氣,但也不弱,只是酒的結構在口中有點點散,餘韻亦不錯,夠長,但較隱弱,是一枝很好的酒。

Gordon & Macphail Tomatin 1995 Single Cask Single Malt Cask Strength Whisky (bottled in 2015)

Medium gold coloured with fairly high intensity aromas of malt barley, toasted vanilla, lemon and touch of pineapple. Water enhances it tropical character and gives out some coconut notes. Dry with medium acidity, quite high warming alcohol and medium bodied. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of malt, coconut, honey and banana. Longer than medium length with toasted nut finish, .(92)

感覺帶點野性的威士忌。酒香強而複雜,加水後更易感受到波班桶的特色。一樣有著單桶威士忌那強勁的酒精,但不算辣 。酒在口中的複雜性少了點,但仍不錯,餘韻亦長。飲時令我有在火爐邊看書的感覺,好味。

Gordon & Macphail Glenburgie 1995 Single Cask Single Malt Cask Strength Whisky (bottled in 2015)

A medium gold coloured single malt whisky with very high intensity aromas of honey, grain, orange, vanilla, spice and touch of mint. Adding water brings out its maltiness and some tropical fruit notes. Dry with medium acidity, quite high warming alcohol and quite full bodied. Touch of wood tannin is detected with over medium itensity flavours of lemon, honey, toasted spice and banana. Medium length with citrus and peppery finish. (92)

比當日試酒板時好,證明開瓶後透透氣會有多一點表現。單桶酒的酒精一般較強,加少少水更多香味,酒香的複雜性也不錯,酒體滿滿的。酒在口中的複雜性少了些,餘韻亦比想像中短了點,但回味有些複雜性,不錯。配餐或剩飲也可,但建議落少少水會更香及更易入口。

This is a dry red wine with deep purple colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of leather, earth, black cherry and licorice. Medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied with quite high tannin, still fine grained but a touch of greenness is detected. Barely over medium intensity flavours of blackberry, plum, licorice and touch of leather. Longer than medium length with leathery finish. (91)

以這酒區來說是一枝不錯的酒。酒香比了不同層次的香氣,亦有一定強度。只是酒味在口中複雜性下降了些,單寧不鞋口但有一絲青澀,餘韻亦算長。幾好飲。

This is a deep ruby dry red wine with fairly high intensity aromas of rose, redberry, mint tea, cabbage and earth. It has medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied with fine grained tannin. On palate it gives fairly high intensity flavours of redberry, plum, licorice and touch of mushroom. Fairly long length with red plum finish. (91)

四四正正的。酒展現著品種的特性,酒香和酒味也有不錯的複雜性,強度也足,餘韻長,不錯。但多一點複雜性更好。

一枝有優雅感的美國波爾多式的酒 。不論酒香、酒味、強度、複雜性都有著中上表現,餘韻亦長,好飲。酒的各種味道混在一起,融融合合的,單寧仍強,還可以陳年,很好的酒品。

This dry red wine has fairly deep ruby colour. On nose it has over medium intensity aromas of rose, red cherry, smoke, dried herb, cabbage and touch of mushroom. Medium acidity, alcohol and medium bodied, with medium fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is at slightly over medium level with flavours of rose, red cherry, licorice, cabbage. Medium length with red berry finish. (90)

這酒是盲飲的。聞時感覺這酒不錯,酒有著頗強的香氣,而且有一定複雜性。酒入口之後所有表現一路下降,酒味強度弱了,複雜性下降了,餘韻也不太長,直至飲完為止。 感覺上這酒是一枝很不錯的村酒。當知道這是牙刷蘇時就覺得差了點,這仲要是 09年的牙刷蘇啊! 酒是好飲的,但應該更好吧。

Medium lemon coloured dry white wine with medium noses of lemon, floral, cream and touch of honey, peach and butter. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fairly full bodied. 一枝公整的梅索村白酒,酒香不太強勁,複雜性算合格,最值得讚賞的是餘韻,長得來亦有一個頗複雜的酒味,令人回味的。 這酒表現出些產區的造酒風格,但不至於有很高的品質,別受品牌影響啊!

A medium intensity lemon coloured dry blanc de blanc champagne with higher than medium intesnity aromas of lemon, mineral, bread, yeast with touch of wet stone notes, good mineral character. It is dry with fairly high acidity, medium alcohol and medium bodied. Creamy mousse with medium intensity flavours of lemon, ripe pear, limestone, yeast and bread. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (91)

土質的礦物質感充分表現出來的一款香檳,飲時會令人腦中閃出生蠔的影子,酒的強度算不錯,只是口中的酒味不及酒香強,酒的複雜性亦算合格,餘韻不錯,長而有層次,好飲。
