2003 Ch. La Tour Carnet

This is a opaque ruby dry wine. On nose it gives intense blackcurrant, ripe plum with trace of smoke, earth, cedar and spice note. On palate, it has low to medium acidity and medium to full body. The tannin is still strong but softening. However, the flavour in palate does not carry all those from nose. It gives only black fruit with a little bit spice and the flavours linger shortly in palate. (89) (Tasted on 15 March 2009, reposted)
