It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium ripe tannin. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium level with flavours of rose, red cherry, cabbage, clove and touch of mineral. 有著GRAND CRU級數的品質,以這葡萄園來說這酒交出了水準。酒香和酒味有一定複雜性,餘韻亦算長,但應該更好的。強度比想像中弱了點,但不太影響品飲享受,唔錯。

2004 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers, Domaine Sylvain Cathiard

A deep ruby coloured wine with quite high intensity noses of black plum, rose jam, candied red berry, licorice, mushroom, sweet vanilla and trace of smoke and earth. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. Tannin is soft at medium level but touch of greenness is detected. The flavour intensity is over medium level with flavours of red cherry, plum, rose, vegetal and licorice. Longer than medium length with red berry finish. (92)

雖然沒有GRAND CRU葡萄園,NSG的酒是不時會給人驚喜的。這酒的酒香誘人吸引,果香成熟,濃濃烈烈的,又複雜。口感柔順,可是單寧有點點青澀,餘韻不錯,只是酒在口中的複雜性下降了點,但都幾好飲了。

2004 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Estournelles St. Jacques, Domaine Humbert Freres

A dry red wine with closed to deep ruby colour. It has quite high intensity aromas of plum, forest floor, licorice, strawberry, tea and touch of anise and blood. Medium acidity and alcohol with touch of fuller then medium bodied, medium fine grained tannin as well. On palate it has medium intensity flavours of red cherry, tea, cabbage, wild strawberry and herbaceous notes. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (91)

酒香很好,令人感覺是一枝佳釀,強而複雜。酒味卻下跌了不少,幸好餘韻又加番分,幾好飲。酒亦表現出田土風格,口感亦不錯,以04年酒來說單寧的成熟度也好,難得。

Medium lemon green colour with fairly high intensity aromas of lemon, peach, sugar cane, vanilla, almond with chalk and mineral, it is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. On palate it gives medium intensity flavours of lemon, mineral, chalk, pear, almond and vanilla. Slightly longer than medium length with lime finish. (91)

酒香很好,發展亦成熟,複雜性也不錯。酒力強,只是在口中弱了點,餘韻也不錯,幾好飲,但應該要飲,再陳的話表現不會比現在好。

2006 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots, Domaine Hudelot-Noellat

This wine has fairly deep ruby colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of rose, red cherry, licorice, vanilla and trace of forest floor, earth and mushroom. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Fine grained medium tannin too.  On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, red plum, tea, cabbage and licorice. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (90) Good fruitiness, touch of complexity too.

酒的果感成份好,果香給人一種既優雅又甜美的感覺。酒香的複雜性較酒味的好,但強度反而酒味強點點,餘韻不錯,幾好飲。

A medium lemon green coloured dry white wine with slightly over medium intensity noses of lemon, cream, butter, honey, white flower and vanilla. Medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied, with medium flavour intensity. The flavours contain lemon, cream, honey, vanilla and touch of oak. Longer than medium length with honey citrus finish. 酒香與酒味一致,亦展現梅索村的風格,是一枝整體高於平均的酒品。酒力及複雜度尚算合格,餘韻亦是。對我來說簡單了點,但也是一枝易飲易明的酒品。

1993 Macallan Speymalt Single Malt Whisky

Medium gold colour with slightly higher than medium intensity aromas of honey, toast, hay, malt and touch of raisin and cooked apple. Water dilutes the aromas. It is dry with medium acidity and warming alcohol, soft mouthfeel though. The flavour intensity is over medium with flavours of malt, smoke, hay, floral, stewed apple and touch of chocolate. Fairly long length with malty and honey finish. (91)

麥卡倫的酒時常在聞時都較隱約,飲時才多一點風格及給人驚喜。這酒香氣不錯,但直飲會比加冰好。酒香的強度和複雜性也不錯,酒味在口中表現比聞稍好,餘韻亦算長,亦有一定陳年感,幾好飲的一枝老威。

This wine has medium lemon green colour. On nose it has medium intensity aromas of peach, lemon candy, gasoline, cantaloupe, apricot and touch of stone. Medium sweet with touch of fizzy, medium acidity and medium bodied. On palate it gives medium flavours of lime candy, gasoline, peach, apricot and mineral. Medium length with honey lemon finish. 雖然酒是甜的,但一點也不膩,這歸功於酒適度的酸度及點點氣泡感。酒的口感新鮮,品種風格亦突出,酒的力度及複雜性也合格,工整的一款中上酒品。

簡單直接的村酒,這酒仍有其田土風味,也有一定的酒香和複雜性,輕輕鬆鬆佐餐的情況下很不錯,酒也在適飲期,餘韻合格,幾好飲。

This medium lemon coloured dry white burgundy has slightly over medium intensity aromas of honey, citrus, cream, butter, vanilla and touch of mineral, stone and peach. The acidity and alcohol are at medium level, quite full bodied though. The flavours are quite high in intensity with flavours of lemon, honey, butter, vanilla and touch of stone and floral, quite consistent. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (91) A touch of bitterness at the back.

工整一致的酒,梅索村的風格表露無遺。酒香及酒力也有一定的質素和強度,好飲。可是餘韻有一點點苦,如果鍾意"回甘"的話使會覺得冇問題。由聞到飲都很一致的好酒。

1966 Gordon & MacPhail Secret Stills Single Malt Whisky

This is a medium gold coloured whisky. On nose it has pronounced noses of peat, smoke, orange peel, raisin, apricot and touch of honey, caramel and jasmine, full of rancio characters. Water enhances its floral and honey notes. Dry with medium acidity, slightly higher than medium alcohol and medium bodied. On palate it gives medium flavours of honey, hay, malt, citrus peel, tropical fruit with touch of smoke and peat. Fairly long length with honey citrus finish. (92) Alcohol sticks out a bit.

酒的陳年感出眾,酒香亦強而複雜。酒的表現有點驚喜,酒香由煙燻煤泥開始再帶出花果香,但入口時則相反,有一定層次。餘韻亦長及吸引,只是酒精感出了點,有一絲辛辣,總體來說是一枝好酒。

A medium lemon colour champagne with close to pronounced intensity of lemonade, ripe apple, honey bread, cream soda and touch of yeast and mineral. Its sweetness is off-dry with over medium zesty acidity, medium alcohol and bodied, creamy mousse. On palate it gives slightly over medium intensity flavours of honey, lemon candy, bread, yeast and touch of mineral, stone and cream soda. Fairly long length with honey bread finish. (93)

酒的微甜增加了這清爽風格香檳的成熟果感。酒在口中感覺亦立即豐厚起來。酒香複雜,酒力亦強,一枝喝下去有一種令人安心的豐滿感,酒是凍飲的,但有窩心的感覺,令人留有深印象,好精彩的酒品,亦較易令人欣賞到酒莊造酒的手工,好!

Deep purple colour with pronounced aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, black plum, warm brick, licorice type toasted herbs and touch of lavender, smoke and graphite. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Ripe and smooth medium tannin and fairly high intensity flavours. The flavours contain black cherry, lavender, ripe plum with touch of smoke, dust and warm earth. Long length with black plum finish. (96)

這是一枝令人難忘的波爾多。除了1990 Ch. Montrose之外,這是另一枝令我難以忘懷的波爾多紅酒。酒香強而複雜,像有著一篇長篇故事在訴說著一樣。酒體柔順,各酒味融為一體,複雜得來又容易明白。聞完酒香入口後,它不會給你在味覺上有特別驚喜,但有一種完美感,像是設定靚酒的標準一樣。餘韻亦一直提醒飲者它的質數,好好飲。
