1989 Ch. Haut Brion

Deep purple colour with pronounced aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, black plum, warm brick, licorice type toasted herbs and touch of lavender, smoke and graphite. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied. Ripe and smooth medium tannin and fairly high intensity flavours. The flavours contain black cherry, lavender, ripe plum with touch of smoke, dust and warm earth. Long length with black plum finish. (96)

這是一枝令人難忘的波爾多。除了1990 Ch. Montrose之外，這是另一枝令我難以忘懷的波爾多紅酒。酒香強而複雜，像有著一篇長篇故事在訴說著一樣。酒體柔順，各酒味融為一體，複雜得來又容易明白。聞完酒香入口後，它不會給你在味覺上有特別驚喜，但有一種完美感，像是設定靚酒的標準一樣。餘韻亦一直提醒飲者它的質數，好好飲。
